Streamer Showcase Saturday: Real Life Spartan

Happy 2020 and the year of Halo Infinite! This year, we’re picking up our efforts on showcasing more community content, while still talking about news and community discussions. We introduced Machinima Mondays last year and we’re introducing another highlight series: the Streamer Showcase Saturday. Every (or most) Saturday, we will pick a streamer from any platform to showcase and shout-out who has a quality streaming setup, energetic demeanor and viewer engagement. Without any more delays, allow us to introduce our first streamer.

While we have several friends of the show who stream, we wanted to highlight someone who isn’t as close to us to show in good faith, that we’re putting bias aside to highlight some truly entertaining streamers, and this first one has the energy that we hope every Halo fan has for the franchise. Introducing: Real Life Spartan!

While he is not new to the streaming game, his name has caught our attention as we’ve been seeing more about his streams since Halo: Outpost Discover (no direct correlation). Real Life Spartan, “RLS” has an energetic personality on camera and combined with his home-made Spartan armor (with helmet at times), makes for a unique viewing experience. Touting over 500 subscribers, RLS’s viewers are engaging and very supportive of the streamer as he recently received over 100k bits from a viewer equating to $1000. RLS’s stream presentation also includes clean transitions, green-screen scenes where he’ll step away from his gaming center, and several props he’ll employ.

RLS streams on Twitch and has a community Discord server along with a YouTube channel (you can find those links on his Twitch page). While he has no set schedule posted on his page, RLS streams regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and has been recently streaming MCC. You can follow and subscribe to Real Life Spartan on Twitch and follow him on Twitter.
