Grifball comes to Halo 5: Guardians this month with the Hammer Storm update and Polygon has the first exclusive gameplay. The video also shows the Gravity Hammer and the new “ball” in action for the first time. This sport of the future within a first-person shooter has been a staple game mode since Halo 3 and we’re very excited to see what’s going to happen with Halo 5’s new Spartan Abilities and Forge. We were teased during the X-Games that the Arbiter was coming to Killer Instinct and how we have a full on trailer. You may not recognize the voice of Keith David, who voices the latest Arbiter, Thel ‘Vadam. That’s because according to Frankie, the Arbiter in KI is an amalgamation of many Arbiters from the Halo universe (Polygon). The Arbiter joins Killer Instinct Season 3 on Xbox One and Windows 10 March 2016.

It’s hard enough to get a perfection in a normal game of multiplayer, let alone not die at all in Breakout, but it was only a matter of time before the perfect game of Warzone was to happen. Reddit user Krazyflips posted a picture of the final scoreboard from one of his most recent Warzone games. He managed to grab a recording of the Battle of Noctus game with the Xbox One Game DVR and threw it up on his YouTube channel. As you can tell from the video, it looks like a lot of the enemy team were not playing in the game leaving the outside bases open for capture and a quick push to the enemy’s core. There were a few opportunities for the enemy team to put a few points on the board as they infiltrated the core room, but Krazyflips and his team managed to come away unscathed and secure the first perfect Warzone match.
We are finally back on track with releasing shows in the same week as we record them; sorry for any confusion for the past month. This week we cover the latest news about February’s content update, Hammer Storm, some other exciting Halo related announcements and talk with Gray Hogan from Operation Supply Drop. With February’s Content Update, we are getting a few new ball game modes that will support Grifball and Assault. As new game modes have been at the top of the list for Halo fans since Halo 5 released, it’s nice to see another content update that will be the foundation for a lot of community content. In addition to other Halo news, we cover the next three Halo missions involving Fireteam Osiris working with the Swords of Sanghelios to obtain a Forerunner constructor in the effort to continue their pursuit of the Master Chief.
