From this week’s Community Update, Grim was nice enough to give us enough read ahead time for quite a bit of content to go through. We have a new comic mini-series coming, the Ban Hammer has been dropped in MCC, new features are on the way for MCC and the Insiders, and HWCL is weeks away from the invitational finals for this season. There may be a small discussion on avocados and pineapple pizza started from this week’s social stream.

The major update MCC has been out for about a month and it’s already time for another major set of patches to come to the game. Some major community requests are still being worked on, but significant changes are in this update along with a couple new additions including new nameplates. Tox takes the HCS London 2018 championship title, and another community spotlight is showcases some of the best community content we’ve seen yet including a Halo themed DnD-style tabletop game, someone making their own warthog from scratch, and much more!

It’s been a while since we’ve had some exciting Halo integration news, and while it’s not a new franchise, a completely new Halo experience is coming to Forza Horizon 4. HCS London is coming up along with the Halo 3 2v2 Showdown announced with official details for DreamHack Atlanta. A new rotational playlist called Roaming Hill is in Halo 5 social matchmaking and Halo 2 Classic SWAT has made its way to MCC. There are quite a few small stories as well so jump in and take a listen.

We are back into a regular rhythm of recording and do we have some news to catch up on for this week. Since we last recorded, MCC has received the first of some significant updates coming thanks to MCC Insiders testing out new builds of the game. This update precluded Xbox Game Pass receiving Halo: The Master Chief Collection as part of the games included for access along with the ODST DLC being available for $4.99. As this week is Community Spotlight week, we have some community created art, videos, screenshots and more to talk about.
