Our Second season of Halo 2 is here guys. Now it’s time to practice up and get sharp for the matches that we will have in 2 weeks kicking off the start of the LARGEST Podtacular tournaments with 24 teams and over 95 players!!!
So click on the top left side of this page “Tournaments – Fall 2006” and check out the amazing season whe we have in front of us! I would like to give a very special shout out to CapnKrunk for helping me out with the new system. This season would not run as smooth if it wasn’t for our favorite Capn!!

This weeks GamerCast Network featured Dialpex from podtacular. You can download the episode HERE. Yeah guys, I had the oportunity to go and spend some time with Tom and the crew from GamerCast Network and talk about what podtacular is all about, what we do here and our crazy lives within the Halo Universe Podcast. It was a great time and those guys made me feel at home. Even though i was probably the only guy in the room who knew what Top Glass and Bottom Glass were… lol Anyways, It was a great time and those guys have a great show with a great variety of news items in the video game community. Jeverage and Painkilla05 take on X06, Halo Wars, and Peter Moore’s alleged fetish for enslaving Bears?
FINALLY! The most delayed episode to date. Following numerous school projects and Audacity crashes this one clocks in around 50 minutes and is one of Painkilla05’s favorites. It’s the Podtacular Update show, where we talk about news and events (as of Sunday the 24th) in the Halo and Podtacular communities, cover some glitching tips, and we light up the stage for “Podtacular night at the Apollo” or Halo comedy people send in. With the usual JVB on a cell phone with people laughing and talking in the background and guest host Stuntmutt, artist of One One Seven, the regular comic on HBO (halo.bungie.org). Pod art is actually related to a story JVB tells later on… you gotta hear it. It’s drawn by Paul Maestri, artist of the Halo Heads comic. Check out his comic, it rocks! Thanks to Ciclonic for editing audio, he did the best he could and so did we since JVB was on a cell phone and Stuntmutt could not find how to lower his volume. We knew about Halogen being cancelled and that made some speculate on Bungie possibly working on a RTS(Real Time Strategy) game. Well the rumors are confirmed today: Ensemble Studios, makers of the Age of Empires series of RTS games, is working on a Halo RTS called Halo Wars! There was a trailer shown at X06 today. You can watch it, view screenshots or read about the game at halowars.com.
They also announced something I’m excited about: Peter Jackson was there and announced that they will be creating an interactive film experience that is a new chapter in the Halo universe. He’s actually creating a new game studio for this called Wingnut Interactive. This is all over and above Halo 3 and the Halo movie.
