This show we first cover the crackdown event in Redmond, Washington. Liquilife from the Uncle Gamer podcast and I get JVB and Vicious696’s takes on the event and what they learned… straight from the secret lair of Chris Paladino, our buddy from the Gamerscore Blog. After that we chill with Godfree from Gamertag Radio and Nelson from the Planet Xbox 360 podcast. This is a really laid back show. Time’s about 1:15. Hope you like it!

Review Frenzy is living up to their name

GLewis recently started Review Frenzy: the Podtacular game reviewing team. He and the Review Frenzy crew have already posted 4 game reviews! The most recent is for Battlestations: Midway and there are also reviews you can check out for Lost Planet, Rainbow Six: Vegas, by Killazilla and Heavy Weapon by OnlyUPS. Looks like they’ve got a system going: the skinny, the goods, the bad, and our opinion. I’ll post every now and then about the latest few reviews they cook up. Check it out!

Episode 98: Halo 3 beta special with Luke from 1up.com

We broke the mold and went right back to a Halo 3 show since the beta is a hot topic right now. Better yet, we were fortunate enough to have a guest who’s more qualified then just about anyone to talk about it: Luke from the 1up Yours Podcast. Luke has played 9 solid hours of Halo 3 alpha and tells us what we can expect on this show. We talk all about what you think of the beta, how it will work, what we know so far about Halo 3 and related stuff. Lone Bananafone also joins the shenaniganery (is that a word?) This is a good one!

Agony

The wheels have started turning. The floodgates are cracked open. A few lucky souls have received their confirmation that they will be a part of phase one of the Halo 3 public beta. As random people receive bundles of joy in their inboxes, the hardcore among the Halo community feverishly refresh their inboxes and listen to the hollow tick, tick, tick of the clock. By the end of tomorrow we will know. Tomorrow. Feels like a lifetime when joe schmo already got his invite and we’re prepping for our 98th podcast about the Halo universe. Must be patient. Must remember not to hold my breath. Have faith in Bungie, they’ve been good to us… Ah! Must go refresh my inbox again!

Review Frenzy: Heavy Weapon (XBLA)
