Hello everyone here’s a very important news story from Arc Blu. I wanted to publish it to the front page here so everyone is aware of our system. Also be sure to check out the video below!

“Hey Guys,
Just thought I would create a quick tutorial on how to submit films and film clips for consideration for “Featured Matches” and “Weekly Top 10.” Take a quick look at this video, although you probably know how to use the Recommend to Friend feature on your File Share already. Besides that, I’ll run down a small schedule of when you need to submit your films by in order for me to consider them.

[b]FEATURED MATCHES[/b]:
[b][u]There will be 2 weekly featured matches; one to be released on Wednesday, one to be released on Saturday[/u][/b]. In order for me to do this, I will have needed all submissions the night before (Tuesday by 11:59 EST & Friday by 11:59 EST). All matches for consideration will have to be matches that have been played for that week… no previous weeks please. All videos that are NOT selected for the Wednesday featured match still have a chance, however, so submitting early has its benefits. All films submitted for the week will be considered for the Saturday featured match, even if they were submitted by the Tuesday cutoff.

[b]WEEKLY TOP 10:[/b]
[u]Each week a Top 10 film clips will be decided on from the week before.[/u] This means that on the second Saturday, the first weeks Top 10 will be released. Other than that, the Top 10 must be submitted in clip form, not as whole films. Less work on me = better chance u can get a spot.

How To Submit Films

Hey Guys,
Just thought I would create a quick tutorial on how to submit films and film clips for consideration for “Featured Matches” and “Weekly Top 10.” Take a quick look at this vid, altho you probably know how to use the Recommend to Friend feature on your File Share already. Season Update – Week 1

Get your BR’s ready because it’s time to lock and load. The podtacular season starts tomorrow and on this update you will find the games that will be played this week, some reminders and some of the buzz that’s been going around. Well let’s get down to business.

This week we will start the season with MLG V4 games. We have previously mentioned that we will be using V5 games for the remainder of the tournament. However, they’re not out yet so we will use these until we v5 is out and we have given the go ahead here for that particular week. So with that in mind make sure that CTF games will also be used under the Game Battles format, which has a time limit of 15 mins. If you have any questions regarding any game type please PM myself (Dialpex) or Kiaffex and we will be happy to answer any questions.

Well here are the games for this week.

The format to be followed is: [b]Slayer – Objective – Slayer[/b]

[b]MLG V4 Slayer on Guardian
MLG V4 KoTH on Construct
MLG V4 Slayer on The Pit[/b]

Keep in mind that the games must be played in that particular order.

Some of the questions that came up this week were regarding the armor/helmet rule. There are no rules regarding that. The only rule is that the players all be using the Spartan character.

Keep in mind that each team will host one game. Also its advised that a 30 seconds free for all slayer match is done before the matches just to assure that the host used is reliable.

All Parties must be set to 8 players limit, in case a team member lags out he can then be invited back and return to the game.

All right, i believe this is about what we all needed to get this “party” started. Remember, play fair as we’re in a community tournament. Save all your trash talk for someone else. We have always watched behavior and we always will. Complaints are not taken lightly and we will disqualify those teams that take that to a different level.

Just a heads up, I had the pleasure of guest hosting on the Hardcore Christian Gamer Podcast recently on episode 53. It’s well over an hour of talking about games from a christian perspective. They also have a clan called SOG (Sons of God). Check out the show!

Podtacular Spring Season 2008 Kick Off

Welcome everyone to the Podtacular Spring Season 2008.

It’s time to get ready for another Podtacular season and even better… now with HALO 3. This is our first Halo 3 season and the competitiveness factor has just taken over the place.

This season brings a lot of great podtacular players as well as some friendly communities into the mix. I would like to take this moment and thank the invited communities that came to take part of this award winning tournament with us, and they are: [b]The Cavegirls, SBG, The C1nder Clan and Praetoria Guard.[/b] Thank you so much guys and girls, for coming over and sharing this experience with us.

Well without any further delay i would like to announce the groups. All groups information can be found at the “Groups” link at the top of this page. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank our very own [b]CapnKrunk[/b] for all the help, effort and amazing job with getting this site “Season Ready” for us. Thanks a ton Krunk!

By the way, i would like to introduce a couple of new things that we have in stock for this season. Number 1… You’re looking at it! This is a page specially dedicated to the season tournament where you will be able to find all the information, updates, team rosters, brackets and group stats, videos just a click away. Yes one place for all your season needs. Pretty sweet huh?!!? Every week the season update will be posted on this “front page” and you will be able to check out the latests and the greates that the Podtacular Season has to offer.

The second great feature comes from our very own community member Madgecko aka Arc Blu. He will be in charge of getting some selective season Matches here and ready for everyone to watch. He will also be responsible for our very own Podtacular Season Top 10 Plays of the week, which will be narrated by a special member (more on this later…)

Anyway, this is about it for now. I just would like to welcome everyone and as of right now we stand firm for a seson kick off on March 31st 2008. Please keep a close eye to this page for future news and important updates.

The matches and last rules for the following week will be posted here soon. Stay focused!

The Podtacular Spring Season 2008 is Live!!!

It’s that time again ladies and gents. Time for the podtacular season hype!

I would like to announce that we’re officially live with the season and we’re ready to kick off the tournament next week as planned.
In order to stay in the loop for everything regarding the season, we have created a season portal inside of podtacular. This season portal which has a link (Tournaments) right there to the left of the screen will lead you to the main season page where you will be able to find every season related news story, groups, brackets, team information, rules and even our newest feature: Season Videos.

All of this wouldn’t be possible with the help and support i received from CapnKrunk, Kiaffex and Arc Blu.
