The Aussie edition is out as we have three representatives of the Australian nation on the show this week: RicE sNaK RozZ, fungus oz & Arbitation. You thought the last Australians we had on were funny, you’ll get a kick out of this episode. This week we covered the Dome of Light and Scarab campaign levels for Halo Wars; although, it seemed like we had more random comments this week than show submissions. As people go running about Halo 3 Matchmaking trying to get Recon, Bungie has released pictures of the three new Mythic Maps that will come with Halo 3: ODST. Heretic, of course, is the Midship remake, Citadel reminds me of the shield towers from the Covenant Campaign level, and Longshore looks like a completely new map. In my desperate attempt to make this blog worthwhile for something other than the podcast, I’d thought I should write about something on everyone’s mind. Bungie Day is coming up in two days with a chance to get Recon: another one of those things that says you either are very respectable to Bungie or you play too much Halo and need to get a life. Bungie is offering Recon to those who can beat them in the “Bungie vs The World” playlist on July 7th. Even if you fall to Bungie’s awesomeness, you still have a chance in getting some other prizes that they will hand out throughout the day. And you thought last week was long? This week, GLewis went a little crazy and decided to read all the submissions, so we are having to split up the show into two episodes. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the recording, cause I had family in town, so GLewis was stuck with our guest. So apparently, we aren’t the only Halo podcast around, because our guest Ryaaan14 is from a Halo podcast called Real 7alk.
