The duo has managed to get inside the Didact ship’s shields before it jumped to slipspace, now trying to find a way into the Composer. If the Didact is successful at Earth, nothing will stop him from composing the entire human race. Will Chief be able to stop the Didact before the population of Earth is composed? Podtacular 353: Storming the Castle

Earlier this week, 343i released their Castle Map Pack Trailer giving us the first glimpse into the last map pack they announced back before the game’s release in November. In this week’s bulletin, more details for the medium-sized, vehicle heavy maps Perdition, Daybreak and Outcast were unveiled with more to come next week from media outlets. We slip into an early discussion about what 343 Industries needs to do to win back the core Halo crowd for the Halo franchise, but it’s a good discussion about multiple aspects about the current franchise standing. Nothing big on the playlist side of things other than more fine tuning, but with the promise of the “X” when you die. This week’s question: if you were the last of your race and about to activate the Halo array to wipe out all life in the galaxy, what would be your last words? Halo 4 Spartan Ops: Invasion

Halsey has been confined after being interrogated by Lasky and Palmer, but it doesn’t stop her as an opportunity through Roland presents itself. Overriding Roland, she learns Master Chief is alive and tries to take matters into her own hands, contacting Jul and preparing to leave Infinity. Roland stops her attempts to undermine Lasky’s operation, but Infinity gets invaded. In response, all Spartan teams are ordered to return to defend Infinity. What will happen to Dr. Halsey from her treachery? Will the Spartans be able to fend off invaders? Find out this week as HaloFanForLife returns once again. Enjoy

Castle Map Pack Trailer

Waypoint has released their Castle Map Pack Trailer on their YouTube channel. Certain Affinity has put out some great maps with the Crimson and Majestic map packs and the Castle ones look great as well. The maps are dropping April 8th.

Halo 4 Screens – Tag Set 1

On episode 351, I mentioned how we were thinking about doing something with screenshots now that the web file share is up and running. I asked people to go out and tag screenshots with “Podtacular” and I’d see what we would get. Well two of you have followed through thus far and for your efforts, they are featured below. One of them was tagged from our Majestic MNM event.

Podtacular 352: Beyond Halotainment

Every now and then another Halo community pops up. Most of the time they start off small and grow gradually, but a few times they explode, which is what has happened to Beyond Entertainment. With a similar start to The Halo Council, Beyond Entertainment was started by a few competitive Halo players whose focus is to bring together parts of the Halo community through quality entertainment. Within their month of existence, they’ve gained popularity across multiple communities, but it’s likely we haven’t seen the bulk of their offering yet. Halo 4 Campaign: Composer

Master Chief and Cortana continue their pursuit of the Didact as he searches for the Composer, a powerful that can turn the fate of humanity in an instant. Scientists at Ivanoff Research Station have been studying the Forerunner artifact, but now they are in jeopardy. Chief and Cortana must prevent the Didact from finding and obtaining the Composer before it’s too late. We are joined from across the pond by writer/director Peter Cooper as we near the conclusion of Halo 4’s story arc. Enjoy
