The Halo 4 Global Championship showed off some amazing talent and provided Halo fans with some of the best competitive Halo, the likes of which have been unmatched. While a podcast on the Championship and PAX is due, the topic of our podcast this week is the latest Halo Bulletin and a guide into the world of Destiny with the folks from Guardian Radio. First, bs Angel shows us what we can expect with upcoming matchmaking updates including merge of playlists, the latest rotational playlist set through the end of the year, and a tease to race finally coming to Halo 4. Cortana is also the rumored assistant on the Windows Phone revealed from a beta build of the operating system in app form. Finally, Mark Turcotte, Craig Hardgrove and Derrick Smith from the fan site Guardians of Destiny join us in our charades to tell us what Bungie’s next title is all about. Enjoy

Xbox One On Your Doorstep 11.22.13

Last week marked a big milestone for Microsoft and Xbox as the Xbox One hit full production mode. In response, Xbox has officially stated that the Xbox One will be available November 22, 2013 in 13 markets; eight years after the launch of the Xbox 360. HFFL’s Lirst LAN

HaloFanForLifeOur friend HaloFanForLife is throwing a LAN party in about three weeks for some good ‘ole fashion Halo. There’s going to be an FFA tourney along with displays of Halo collectables, toys, tech and much more. We will have the privilege of broadcasting the event during the tourney where you may even get to see some commentary from Gh057ayame. The LAN will be in Pittsburg, PA on Saturday, September 13th at the Game On Party Planner’s LAN center. Halo 4 Global Championship Giveaway

As we announced on our podcast yesterday, we are giving away two invites to the Halo 4 Global Championship invitational bracket at PAX Prime 2013. In order to qualify, you must meet the tournament rules and be going to PAX. In order to enter, just send an email to duststorm@podtacular.com with your gamertag and the reason why you deserve the invite. We have two to give away and the reasons can be as serious as to speak to your skill on the battle field, or as funny as why you would cause the most mayhem in Halo. Your submissions are due by 11:59P PDT on Saturday to be considered. The rest of your information will be collected when notified on Sunday. Good luck.

*Please note that all invited players must be 18 years of age or older as of July 5th, 2013, not be residents of AZ, CT, MD, TN, QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, and be eligible according to tournament rules (see below) in order to compete.
