The Halo Bulletin is starting to get a little repetitive being the end of the new content age of the game. Matchmaking playlist changes and weapon tuning continues in this week’s edition, but we’ll be seeing a lot of that and not too much else in the way of new content. We cover the latest in the weapon tuning process along with special upcoming events. Matchmaking playlists are also getting an update with new maps that were tested in the Forge Test playlists. Podtacular 362: Tuning 4ork

Before diving into this week’s bulletin, CruelLEGACEY tells us about Playtime Season 4 premiering on Halo Waypoint on Monday, April 22nd. Playtime is a light-hearted, comedic Halo Machinima series started by our good friend and has grown considerably since its inception. Back on bulletin news, AGL Nashville happened this last weekend with the crowned champions of Pulse eSports. This sparked a discussion among the hosts on the attractiveness of competitive to the greater community, leading also into the discussion of Halo’s longevity. They take up a good chunk of the show, but great points are brought up. Some insights into the weapon tuning are given along with next week’s matchmaking update. Enjoy

Podtacular 354: Bulletin Update

This week, Halo is at PAX, are you? If so, you’ll get some big information regarding the next map pack and title update. If not, there’s some tid bits, 343 has given in this week’s Halo Bulletin. Despite their busy schedule, they released a lot of information regarding their PAX schedule, matchmaking updates and a few items we’ll be seeing in the next title update. There are lots of goodies to sort through and they will go more in depth on the future of Halo multiplayer and the next title update on their panel today. If you’re not here to see it, the panel will likely be uploaded to YouTube not long after. No question of the week since I’m co-hostless for this show, but we got a huge response for last weeks. Podtacular 353: Storming the Castle

Earlier this week, 343i released their Castle Map Pack Trailer giving us the first glimpse into the last map pack they announced back before the game’s release in November. In this week’s bulletin, more details for the medium-sized, vehicle heavy maps Perdition, Daybreak and Outcast were unveiled with more to come next week from media outlets. We slip into an early discussion about what 343 Industries needs to do to win back the core Halo crowd for the Halo franchise, but it’s a good discussion about multiple aspects about the current franchise standing. Nothing big on the playlist side of things other than more fine tuning, but with the promise of the “X” when you die. This week’s question: if you were the last of your race and about to activate the Halo array to wipe out all life in the galaxy, what would be your last words?
