Halo 2 Farewell Game Nights

For those who haven’t joined us before now, Podtacular is reminiscing in the game that started the community back in the days of foo. For the next three days, we will be hoping on XBOX Live and playing Halo 2 until the Live service for the original XBOX ceases. If you want to be a part of the action, make sure you have Halo 2 (on the XBOX) and all the DLC. Then search for and message these gamertags: Dust Storm 051, chuckiej, brentgamer. Whenever Dust Storm is on, he will be broadcasting on Justin.tv. Watch the Podtacular Twitter for an announcement that he is streaming live.

Continuing on in our coverage of Halo 2 before it dies on Live, this week’s show focuses on the multiplayer aspect of Halo 2. Because this podcast was started for Halo 2 multiplayer, we decided to bring the man, himself in to discuss the good ‘ole days: foomojive. Since Dust Storm didn’t have an XBOX or Halo 2 when it was new, Brent and foomo drive the conversation talking about all the different popular customs on all the maps. And there’s more Pokémon. XBOX Live Update: Nov. 17th

For those not in the preview program, the next XBOX Live update coming out on November 17th will include all the new features that were revealed at E3 2009. You will have Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM and Zune marketplace available for you on your XBOX.

Podtacular Episode 200 Livestream Success

Thanks to everyone who came to the live show last night! At max, we had 30 viewers but there have been over 8000 visits to the stream in the past 24 hrs. The 200th episode is currently looping on the livestream. So you can go relive all the crazy moments anytime. Guests & Hosts included Foo mo jive, Spelchek, CapnKrunk, ChuckieJ, Lancelot and of course Dust Storm and GLewis. Also, there were a few call-ins, an epic “Keep on Fraggin’” by Rice Snak Rozz and the community, and a “moment montage” by Lilkuke. Audio version coming later this week.

Podtacular 200 Live

Episode 200 will be broadcasted live from livestream tomorrow, August 9th at 6PM Pacific, 9PM Eastern. We would really like to see a nice turnout to the show and fill up the chat. All the regular hosts will be there along with some the old hosts and some special guests.
