TIPS

• Tiptacular.
• Okaytacular.
• Kooltacular fo tacular.
• Takular is the new trend.
• [I’m disgusted at myself for typing this].
• Take down a Banshee [he means Ghost] with a battle rifle or a sniper rifle, by shooting a small cylindrical thing on the left side of the Banshee [once again, Ghost].
• If someone is chasing you up a ramp, you can jump behind them and assassinate them, for a quick and easy kill.
• Toss a grenade into the sword spawn on Zanzibar to knock it down to the ground.
• You can melee with a sniper much faster than you may think.
• Once you get a guy with the flag headed back to your base, get someone to go back to the flag spawn, to get their flag again.
• If you don’t have a rocket launcher, use SMG’s to take down a Banshee [he actually means Banshee this time] faster. Don’t use a battle rifle.

BIG TEAM TIPS

• When you drop in and grab the flag on Coagulation, throw it up and get someone to run through the teleporter, you can either get a Warthog to take you back to base, or block the portal with a Ghost or Banshee.
• You can get a bomb guy to a bomb zone faster by putting him onto a Ghost or Banshee.
• When playing an objective game on Coagulation, and you’re playing defense, you can go on top of your base and hide behind the teleporter. grab all the grenades up there, and you can either beat down people who come onto the roof, or you can just “spam” grenades into your base to kill anything that can be killed.
• On multi or single flag ctf on Waterworks, have a Banshee and a Warthog go to the enemy base, and drop out of the Banshee grab the flag, and get into the hog. Easy score, unless the inside of the base happens to be crawling with enemy scum.

NEWBIE TIP

• [I’m not typing it. I refuse! Go listen to it].

MAP OF THE WEEK: TURF

• Turf has no grass, maybe a pixel or two.
• One flag ctf, first thing to do is park the hog in the garage. Grab the flag, and use the hog to get to the objective point faster.
• The Warthog is electric, that is why there are no toxic emissions.
• For territories, grab the sniper rifle, and go into the garage and hide behind the boxes. [easy way to defend the garage… from one direction] the boxes also provide pretty good cover from grenades.
• Spawn killing can be an effective strategy, but is generally frowned upon. Enemies often spawn in the medical tent.
• Newb combo is also an effective strategy, but generally frowned upon.
• You can block the doors of the garage with the Warthog, to surprise your enemies.
• You can get a faster reload by pressing the “action button” [this is not a Gamecube game where one button does everything, so I guess he means the x button] towards the end of the animation.
• Never use the Warthog when you are on offense. The defending team can use the turret to defend the base.

CUSTOM GAMES

The Plebism says: Cage fight.

To set up, you need weapons as Swords and Rockets. Overshield ON and game mode based on Slayer. You only have one life …. ooouuccccchhhh.

OK - onto the game mode.

The game is played best with 16 people on the room – the more the merrier. Everyone meets by the warthog. Now one person cant play as he/she needs to be the person that puts the other players into the glitch.

Right – so you’re all by the warthog
.. see the back wall – like a grill come mesh thing ??? Inside there
is where you’re heading baby – THE CAGE. One person stands
in front of the mesh/cage wall, while someone rams them with the hog. As overshields are on … the hog pushes you through the wire/mesh thing and into a small space behind it. You heard right … once inside .. you cannot get back out and you can not be shot by anyone outside the cage.

So…once everyone is inside the cage area … the fight begins. Last man standing wins.

Ha – gotta say .. it looks awesome … 15 players all inside a small area firing rockets, nades swording … mmmmmental fun. That’s
it – my first game type :-)

Feeble Mongoose says: Freeze tag.

Team Slayer, unlimited score to win. First weapon: shotgun, Second weapon: plasma pistol, no other weapons on map, rest is all default. One green guy uses shotgun, rest of the people are all yellow, they cannot shot or beat down the green guy at all, if you get killed by the green guy, you go brown, after you respawn you cannot move, the only thing you can do is shoot your plasma pistol to get attention. If you are yellow and find a brown guy, kill him in whatever way possible, when the brown guy respawns, they go yellow again, game ends after the 6 min. time limit or when everyone but the green guy is brown.

Juggernaut: Skeet Shooting

Put jug as having no shields and the primary and secondary weapons are the snipers. this is best played on ascension but it can be played on colossus and Gemini too. the jug goes to the gravity lift and he gets launched into the air. when he comes into view all of the other players shoot at him. the person with the snipe becomes the new jug.
