The future of Halo looks very bleak just based on how very little people are playing Halo 4. Every time I play there is usually less than 1400 playing on all the playlists combined. It used to be you would never see below 100,000.

Hey Brent, so great you're back. That's not why I'm writing this. I have some thoughts about what needs to change for Halo 5. First off, Halo 5 needs to have some version of Social and Ranked Playlists. The system in Halo 3 worked well and I think it still does. Second, the ranking has to be harder. Even with that CSR in Halo 4 is too easy to rank up. 343 needs to use a version of CSR in Halo 5 but visible in-game and harder to get. Whats the point of having rank when no one can see it in-game? People telling me all that bull about if they do a 1-50 rank, people will sell their accounts and all that stuff. I know that, but there's always flaws in things and the flaw in Halo 4's ranking system is that it's too easy. I know there is something in a game that always has problems. The reality of it all is that there's more problems then there should be. More than half the time people and myself get into conversations about Halo 4 where you can hear the disappointment in there voices. But Halo 4 does have great things. Like siren features of Custom Loadouts, Sprint and the updated Weapon Balances. I would love to see these continue to the next game. I like Halo 4 and I think it's a good game too, but I don't want to see Halo die like this and I'm sure you don't ether. Thanks for reading my rant. It's one thing that 343 needs to do is go back to the core mechanics of Halo and start there. I just hope it's not too late........ Forge ya later guys :)
