I was finally able to listen to Episode 383 Mann vs. Demon and really enjoyed it. It was interesting to hear an outside perspective on Halo, the game and universe.
The one thing that made me stop an think was their comments about the Halo universe outside of the game. Agro specifically when he commented on how beautiful the story behind Halo is. At times I think we get too caught up in the game itself and its shortcomings and forget just how amazing the Halo universe is. The Cryptum discussion last week really hit home about how lucky we are as Halo fans. The universe that has been built for us is one that Bungie and 343 have put a great amount of time and effort in, and that is what really drew me in.

Hey Guys,
I noticed you needed to have some people talk about the Spartan Assault from your twitter feed. I have played the game. I actually purchased a new Laptop for my wife, she has been wanting a new laptop for a while. Anyways, I love the game especially the vehicle combat and racking up multikills, however it was, in the beginning, the game was more work then fun to play the game due to the way the controls are setup on the game. I believe you use “ESDX” for the movement, and I tried using the track pad to shoot. I had to finally dig out off box my old mouse to have a better gaming experience. I'm not much of a PC gamer. Besides all that, the game is pretty short but super enjoyable. Although, I have had numerous crashing issues with the game. The crashing could be because I bought a pretty low end Laptop 15" on sale, with 4GB of RAM and an on board integrated graphics card. I am excited to finally pick up a new RT surface since they are $349. So I can play it all over again wit h the touch controls. Hope you find this interesting and informative.
