Custom and Call-ins

Custom Games

it’s pretty much a game to play at 3 in the morning when ur just totally out of it. Its best on coagulation and you put all vehicles to warthogs and for the weapon set i use swords and sentinel beam(is that the name?). The sword because if u do it right u can lunge and end up speeding rite next to them and jack the hog. and the sentinel beam just because its cool and makes big beams of light. You can do overshields because its very hard to kill yourself so u can get some cool crashes. If you do no shields its just kind of funny wen u lightly tap them and they explode. Its pretty pointless but its fun, you get some nice flips.

Secondly, I’d like to share my custom game that I have made. I call it ‘Death Trap’. It’s quite simple, it’s a king of the hill game were everyone has active camouflage and no shields, and the starting weapons are the battle rifle (Primary) and the shotgun (secondary), and the weapons on the map are rockets only. Motion sensors are off, and it is a stationary hill. It is a team game, with random turrets and all vehicles random. Make sure to enable the option where the player becomes visible when he/she is in the hill. The vehicles are on the map so that it can be played on any map big or small, and that is also why the rockets are the weapons on the map, so that the vehicles do not dominate. As I said it can be played on small maps or large maps, but you should only play the large maps if you have around 8-16 players and the time limit should be set to 5 minutes or more, and you can play with as many people as you want on the small maps (Lockout is a great map for it), and I find it best that the time limit on the smaller maps to be around 2 or 3 minutes, but you can have whatever time you want really it doesn’t matter.

Its no shields with plasma pistols (the main point is to get beat downs). death pointloss is on. and so is suicide. There are no gernades on map or starting. The game is to 5 but u can make it longer. the catch is that after u kill someone u hav to teabag ther body until it dissapears and if someone comes after u, u can’t get off the body. its pretty fun. oh yeah we usually play it on lock out because its small and is really fun for it.

A really fun game to play on Waterworks is Warthog Wars. The point of this game is to get as many kills as possible, if that means beating down then do it. start out with plasma pistol for starting weapon. It is fun to put grenades on the map but not starting. Also the gametype is a slayer or team slayer, kills to 50, normal shields, no motion censor. You can jack the other Warthogs but watch out they could just as easily whack you right in the back. Another fun thing to do there is trying to get a guy into your warthogs and when you got a full Warthog drive right into the mist in the middle of the board. Its pretty funny when you do it also.

Segments and Voice Mail

Hey, Podtacular I found your cast a few days ago and, even though I dont play too much Halo anymore, I do have a halo story for you. I bought H2 at launch and played religiously until July. The excitement started to dwindle, even with the new maps. So what happened was, I looked for an alternate game, I went and played Black Hawk Down for Xbox for about 3 or 4 weeks. I came back onto Halo in midaugust and found that I was banned from Matchmaking. The absurd part is that I hadnt been playing Halo 2 for the weeks before that! Another odd part of my ban was that I had only played about 5 or 6 Matchmade games after I came home from Vacation(about July 18th) to the Release of Black Hawk Down.(August 28th)

I had either been playing customs or playing Counter Strike Source on my PC for that time. I sent h2cheats e-mails, I sent Bungie Admins e-mails. I send anybody I could think of an e-mail. To no avail, not even a response. I read most of Halo’s cheating criteria and found that Bungie believes that they are completely omniscent when it comes to cheating. Their software makes no mistakes, their men make no mistakes, and this is a complete and total lie. Everyone makes mistakes and computers make fast, accurate, mistakes. No knock to Halo or the players on Xbox Live, Counter Strike Source is a higher quality game and the players are not all 13 year olds who want to swear all day.
