Halo 2 Multiplayer Tales

The Dog Patch

Hey Podtac! The Dog Patch here with a tale from the fox hole. I remember this one sniping spot on Headlong in Halo 2 where no one could see you. The only way to get down was to -
One: Commit suicide
or
Two: Have a banshee next to you all the time.
Sad to see the servers being "cut", but at least Chile still has 'em, right? *LOL*
Thanks for reading and/or listening. Whoever said to stay on topic is a straight up idiot (COPY EDITED), I frag him. Keep fragging noobs who drive mongooses in Rats Nest while playing Team SWAT.
Shout out to mah boy Daniel son, Jeremy, BrentGamer, Dust Storm, and GLewis.
Love your podcast and I always tune in! The Dog Patch is signing out!
P.S. Sorry about posting in the comments section! :(

I would like to start out by saying I am very disappointed that Halo 2's amazing multiplayer experience is going away. I remember the best game of Halo two I ever played was on Midship, the best Halo map ever created (or recreated).
Anyway, I was playing a local multiplayer match at my cousins house with two of my friends. We made the gametype All-Swords and had the best time ever. We played for 4 hours straight and had a blast. Then we played the best level of campaign in Halo 2, Metropolis! Man this level had everything: tank owning, scarab destruction, and most importantly lots of Master Chief kicking more Covey butt baby! Anyway Halo 2 will always live on in my heart and I will never forget this amazing addition to the Halo universe's multiplayer and campaign.
Okay well thanks for reading my submission and I would like to give shoutouts to stallmeplease, Dusty, GLewis, BrentGamer, and whoever said "Stop running from our Wienerschnitzel" at the beginning of Decade of Games podcast. Keep on fraggin' noobs on Battlefield Bad Company 2 that don't know how to defend and rush to the other side like idiots. Also, keep fraggin' France because French people suck.

P.S. Any good ideas of what I should change my Gamertag to? If you have one please PM me on Xbox Live. My name is jjwebb9501 or webbstar.

Hey guys! Just making a submission on Halo 2's Campaign, which I didn't like that much. Luckily, my friend and I finished it on Legendary one night. Then just last week, when I was searching for my Halo 2 disc, I found it and beat it again. Anyway, later guys!

Hey guys, this is the best Halo 2 multiplayer story I have:
I was playing Slayer on Zanzibar. I got on the Warthog and started to ride it across the map when I was hit by a rocket. The next thing I knew, I got an overkill because a part of the Warthog flew across the map and killed four FSRs (Futuristic Sex Robots).
Anyway, keep on fragging trucks! I hope you get to episode 500. :)

Back in the day (when Halo 2 was one of the most amazing games ever), I got invited into a clan called "Monkey's World". It was the funniest, most unbelievable clan ever. Only people with the word "monkey" in their Gamertag could join. At that time, my name was m0nk3y and I was invited into it. The clan had about 40 or 50 people in it. We weren't a bad clan either we had won a lot of games. It was later broken up but it was pretty cool. I don't know why, but when I think of Monkey's Halo 3 that was the first thing to come to mind. Well keep correcting, gr@marr and reading long Halo summaries.

While I don't have anything specific to submit today, I have many things that I want to mention about the epic multiplayer battles in Halo 2. Headlong is easily the best map in this game, and I remember many moments in the Warthog, Ghost, and Banshee. I also played Tower of Power on Ascension and Zombies on Foundation; I remember the consistent fear of Zombies hunting you down in every match. Although Xbox Live for the original Xbox will soon be terminated, its memories will still live on and Halo 2 for Windows Vista will still be available.
Shout outs to Dust Storm, ChuckieJ, Brent Gamer, and GLewis!
Keep on fraggin' trucks on Turf.

Dear fellow Podtacians (Pod-TACK-ians),
I am submitting this while on my cellphone and on the Halo 2 multiplayer screen. I never played much Halo 2 multiplayer (until I got a 360), because I lived in the middle of nowhere. My tale is that while I was playing multiplayer, I found out that I had an unusually skilled when it came to using the sniper (I think its because my name's Greg). I also have an uncanny ability to stick people with plasma 'nades and get double kills with both types of 'nades. I don't have anything else to say so I shall head off.
Keep on fragging noobs that think that HeartGold and SoulSilver (which I have) are dumb.

What's up Podtac! I had an awesome Spring Break because this year, I wasn’t dragged into another ridiculous “one-billion-miles-long” road trip with my mother and “soon-to-be-out-of-the-house” older sister (Thank God she’s moving out! >:D ).
I would like to say that part one of Episode 220 was the funniest podcast episode that I’ve heard in a while. It literally made my ribs hurt. I was listening to it at around 2 AM and tried my hardest to not wake up anyone from my inevitable “laughtacular” frenzy! Troubled Party’s submission that killed me so bad that I listened to that part twice. I will always remember the part when he said: “But then grandpa of regret knew master chief was coming and space jumped which is like teleporting except everything dies around you…” unquote. That made me ROFL big time!
Anyway, here’s my tale from the Halo 2 glory days:
When Halo 2 was still the king of Xbox LIVE, I had to settle for the ghetto version of Xbox LIVE which was known to many as system link and/or LAN.
On my 16th birthday, I had my final epic LAN party in my garage. One of my friends was able to bring his projector! I had also set up two 32-in TV’s plus an extra 28-in TV for anyone who’d rather play campaign; but no one played on the 28-in…
I had also set up a couple of air-manipulation devices known as “fans” in order to prevent the over-load perspiration of everyone’s tension and/or focus from short circuiting any of the wires and/or Xboxes and/or TV’s.
There were 12 players total and the LAN party lasted for about six hours, but I was only able to be in part of it for about an hour and a half because I was too busy cycling around the neighborhood in search for more controllers and extension cables! Sad face…
But what I remember the most from that party was the epic “three-teams of four” Tower of Power on Ascension! And 6v6 Team Slayer on Lockout with 99 lives for each player was very epic! I practically lost my voice from yelling and calling out that day!
Well that’s my story. I’ll be playing Halo 2 online until it takes it’s much deserved rest, so if anyone wants to party up, just message me on Xbox LIVE.
Hope to see you guys during the Beta!
