Podtacular clans are having a showdown for minor clan match levels. So far it’s pod2 with 18 in the lead, followed by pod5 at 14, pod1 at 13, pod3 at 10 and pod4 at 9. Keep up the good work, pod2 and let’s see if anyone from the other clans can de-throne them!

Gemini Ace is having some serious problems and needs our help! His wife went into labor early and can’t work, and he is having major trouble paying bills and keeping a place to live. A paypal link is on podtacular.com. Help him out with a couple bucks! In an update: Their son was born Sunday the 16th in critical condition. Let’s pray the kiddo makes it ok!

Spartan458: weird to be fighting with no gun. I’m trying to imagine a spartan doing a spinning roundhouse kick against a ninja on the orbiting big gun with the covenant boarders on the side.

Feel The Thunder is back from vacation and has invited pretty much all the people who wanted invites to Pod 05 (which is the highest ranked podtacular clan BTW). If you request a clan invite, please be ready to accept it by the next night or 2 nights. In order to make room for new members we need the people who have gotten invites to accept, so if you don’t they’ll be cancelled. Next if you dont accept it soon the people that are below level 15 are the first to go, which is a remainder that 15 is the requirement. Lastly, no modders “and/or” superjumping.

Oh yea and also Pod 05 is trying out making people under level 20 (the level that shows up in friends list) Peons.

Unfortunately, FUAB had to resign from doing Podtacular show notes. The guy is amazing and has done such a great job, we wish him all the best. Apotdart is doing a great job transcribing or summarizing show notes now. Xansas is also back from South Africa early. Welcome back!

More drama about the recent change to 3 shows instead of 1. Before people used to complain about the shows being too long. Now they complain about there being too many. We’re just not going to please everyone here but we’ll try to tweak it a bit to get our “flow” going and to get the detail junkies happy with the episode naming convention. It sounds like just about as many people like the change as dislike it, though, so that’s a good sign. You can vote on the sidebar of podtacular.com now.

Speaking of which, I thought this was funny, from roman craig: You tell ‘em decidus… seriously stop the bitching and just enjoy the show. If you hate the new format so much, I hear there is another cool halo podcast at Shutthehellupyouwhiningnoob.com.

Stop asking for invites to pod 1 or pod 2! We’re full and have been for a while. We may be able to fenagle some things and get the people in who asked already but probably not in the future.

Death Drummer says: Hey guys, I just caught onto your podcast this week and obviously started with number 1. I noticed that you werent sure of how there will be less swearing on 360. You may already know this, but I read that the feedback system is gonna be so heavily relied on that, when people leave say “swearing” feedback, that if someone gets enough of that kind of feedback they are shifted into there own catagory. So basically swear-ers will play with swear-ers and cheat-ers will play with cheat-ers, and most importantly RACISTS will play with RACISTS. I hate that, im not even black but my best friend is, and it is so ignorant when all people say is the n-word.

CHEATING!! There is widespread cheating again on Halo 2. Modding and bridging happens a lot at levels above 30. De-ranking happens a lot at levels below 20.

Shmads tells us about a new bungie.net group, “All Hail OS.” This group is dedicated to NSCS, the not so common Sense guide over a halo.bungie.org. As u may know, the author is Overswarm. (Get it, OS, Overswarm? hehe…) and this bungie.net chapter/group will have
disscussions about NSCS, MLG, ect.
