What’s up guys,

Just wanna’ say that I’m lovin’ the new show! I’m a noob here at
Podtacular- just started listening 2 shows ago. I found the podcast
through a random iTunes search and I am now subscribed. Keep pumping out
the shows and we’ll keep listening (just wish you’d add an MLG segment).

Shout outs to Dust Storm, Cryptoflix, and G the Greg man Lewis. See
everyone on the forums.

Uzumaki15

Hey podtac Uzi here with some High Ground tips:
Okay, the first there are very few BR’s on this map especially if you
are blue and spawn in the base however this is compensated by a vast amount
of carbines in the base. The first thing you should do is take a BR or
carbine hop on a goose and rush rockets securing these will guarantee your
ghost a more time to kill. If someone else is rushing rockets then you
should try to secure the laser if your blue or the sniper or shotty if red,
the base is where most of the action occurs so be sure to have a close
quarters weapons (mauler, shotty, Brute shot) and a medium to long range
like the carbine or BR.
Now a SWAT tip:
When playing SWAT and you’re not good at aiming at the head use a simple
technique called “zip ‘em up” simply aim at the enemies torso and
move the thumbstick up this will (unless they’re faster) nail them in the
head almost every time.

l ninjaman59 l

Hey you guys. Once again It’s the ninja with a plan. Sorry about the suckyness of the last submission, but my computer doesn’t have spellceck cuz its old. High Ground. Where do I start? I know… CTF. One-sided CTF on defense. What I do is I try to run to rockets and try not to die. I then run to a spot where I can watch the flag. My favorite spot is the laser spawn or the rocket launcher thingy in the back of the base. Other than that I don’t really have anything else to say. Once more, this is the ninja with a plan, Ninjaman, signing off. C ya.

Lone Soldier332

Hey guys, it’s your main soulja Lone Soldier332 again. I’m back with a few
tips for High Ground.

First off, you want to make sure that you have a special assault rifle

with you at all times. There are several that spawn right in front of
you at the beginning of each round. High Ground being an extreemly open
map, a regular assault rifle just won’t cut it. Especially when you are
outside either inside or outside the base.
If you spawn near the beach, and you’re a good sniper, be sure to convince
your team to let you grab it. I find that the best strategy for assaulting
the base is to grab the sniper and head up to the Active camo spawn. You
can snipe the enemy team from the center bridge. Or, you can go with
another combo that I enjoy. Go to the Overshield spawn and grab it. Right
below it is a shotgun. You can use this combo to plow right down the
middle. It works more than half the time for me, and I don’t intend to fix
what’s not broken.

If you spawn in the base, be sure you or some one on your team grabs the
Spartan Laser. Because odds are that within a few seconds, there will be a
Mongoose and Ghost headed straight toward you.

Try not to go out into the open areas of the map unless you absolutely
must. Because you’re just a sitting duck for the sniper or special assault
rifle.

Anyways, shoutouts to the Podtacular crew, and Usedzombies for his insane
appreciation of my maps.

Editor’s Note: Containment .5, along with the game variant,
CONTAINMENTBETA are up on my fileshare. I’ve also uploaded some screenshots
to my gallery on bungie.net. Make sure you check it out.
Keep it together guys. You are all awesome.

Keep on fragging midgits.

Auron62

Sup podtacular hope your doing as well as your last episode. (That was
pretty funny) but before I get to my tip I’m going to tell you how to
pronounce my name. its pronounced Aw-ren but the aw part is short. Also my
gamertag is Auron v3. Now for high ground, If you spawn over by the beach
and its a 4v4 slayer have one guy go special assault rifle and sniper, have
one guy get the shotgun near one of the broken barriers and have him get a
grav-lift. Send him up to get splazer and blow up their ghost if their
smart. have one guy go for your ghost, and finnaly have one person get on a
mongoose and rush the rockets and camo. the guy getting sniper should also
get Overshield.

Now if you spawn on base side its a little harder for you, but still
tolerable (I sure hope krypto pronounced that right if he’s reading.)
Anyways have one guy get on a ghost, one on a mongoose to rush rockets, one
to go up with duel maulers to get splazer, and one to go with mongoose guy
to help him out if he has a special assault rifle.
Now once you have all these options are out now for the real battle. Area
control is NEEDED to win. Without it the game becomes only luck as people
demolish you with Splazer, shotty, sniper, and rockets. If you control
splazer tower keep a mauler so if they come up you can easily kill them. If
your controlling the base with the flip open ceiling by shooting it a few
times keep a close range weapon and a special assault rifle. If you control
the vehicles then keep away from splazer and rocket guy, Beware of
hi-jakers and camo guy. If you control pipe room a shotty or a mauler with
a sniper will easily keep it covered.

Also if you come out of pipe room and you go through the door closer the
the beach and crouch jump on to the base with the computer you have a great
sniper area that can help you even see key spawns like camo and rockets.

Sorry for having such a long submission just want everyone on podtacular
to be… well informed? Well anyways great job on the podcast dust, krypto,
and guest who I don’t know his name!

Keep on fragging trucks.
Shoutouts to: KayoT9, Ikilluhh, Snagg3d, cent007, and all my other
friends.

lancerr47

Hey Podtacular, its me lancerr47.
I have a quick Tip for the map High Ground. This tip is good for
playing CTF when you spawn at near the beach (some people say that spawning
at the beach is a bad place to spawn). Have half of the group head toward
the Rocket launcher, and use it of they want to, and the other half take
the mongoose and sneak around to the left near the bunker. The group near
the rocket launcher should distract the other team and the group near the
bunker get into the base and steal the flag. Then as your heading back have
one person carry the flag and have another person defend the person
carrying the flag. Then when you get out use the mongoose, which is
conveniently placed. and drive back to the beach. It is very effective if
the distracting team works well. So keep on Fragging Trucks and killing N00Bs with the Special Assault
rifle.

stallmeplease

Hey it’s stallmeplease again, and I’m here with my tips for high ground.
First off, scoped guns like the carbine and special AR ( battle rifle) are plentiful on this map so use them. If you are playing 1 flag, and you
are attacking, head through the building, or you can stay back with your
special AR and pick them off while your friends attack. If you are
defending, stay back so you don’t get picked off and try to grab the camo a
lot so that they don’t creep in. Sorry I don’t have more, I will next show.
Keep on fragging BRITS, and diet soda. My gamertag is stallmeplease so send
me a friend request. Stallme, out.

tokyoinamerica

Hi dust,GLew, and other host of the famous Podtacular show started by the
great foo mo jive. This is the other famous guy tokyo from america.

Well here is my tip for High ground on team slayer. First go get
snipes(everyone always grabs the snipes everybody knows that) then
hopefully the splazer will still be at its spawning position and finally,
hopefully if your lucky the cloak invisibility master of not seeing you
whatever you want to call it. Then literally just light everyone plate kill
the idiot that gets on the ghost or the other idiot that gets on the
mongoose. If no one does that own with sniper. Really really really dumb
tip but whatever life goes on…Or not

Other tip do not get in a vechile because of splazer.
Final tip try to stay on the high ground. Well keep on fraggin people who cut you off in the HOV lane they seriously
where but armor.

Referee CHU

hey podtacular its your favorite referee here. my only tips for high ground
are try to control the upper part of the map and the spartan laser and the
sniper rifle. remember to grab the active camo if youcan.

keep on fraggin purple bellyed yallhers who are under the command of nay
nay and whear pink and purple anus armor…
and trucks to.

Fungus Oz

Hey podtacular, this is fungus oz with a 2 quick tips for High ground.
Here goes.
There are a lot of people who detach the turret at the front of the base
straight away, but it is also quite useful in its fixed position. Provided
there is nobody in the base, your only threat is multiple special assault
rifles and rocket lawn chairs.
My second tip is about ghosts. Teamwork is vital if these vehicles can be
used to their full extent, so before hopping in, get your teammates to
confirm if the spartan laser is not taken, or your life in this
slow-respawning vehicle will be ended abruptly. And you will bite chunks
out of your sofa in frustration.

That’s all from me, so Keep on fragging truck that have retarded poos and
Illegal ice cream trying to cross the border so they can have a huge food
fight with themselves on Cryptoflix’s face, even though he is awesome
sauce. YAYS!

Wipacer

wip-a-car here (please dont call me that) just kidding its wipacer
ok first of all you shlould go straight for the sniper or mauler then for
the camo and THEN for the door once you invisibal. then got the the sniper
tower that is in there base where the splazer spawns and there will be a
rectangle cut out of the wall facing tword the gate butten. this cut out is
next to the f-coils. jump over it and there is a tiny ledge there. camp
there and when ever somone walks under you, give em the ol’ 1-2. after that
you can pretty much shut down the map. good luck

shout out to G-L (no i will not make my spE11ing bETr or my,
pun,tu,at:ion.,.)

keep on fragin strawberry nub-cakes

also i want to give a shout out to my podtac youtube acount where i will
be making so videos about it. my channel name is

General Tips

Scarface_Spartan

Hey guys, Scarface_Spartan here and today I will give you the my tips and tricks for Halo 3 (or any other multiplayer FPS game for that matter)

1. Try to get the best weapon/s available on the map
2. Don’t stay still when you spawn or leave it just so you could piss, you’ll attract a lot of people who love to shoot your head (aka. snipers) or crazy fags that somehow managed to get pass that hail of bullets and rockets (aka. lucky killer dudes)
3. Don’t team kill. (very self-explanatory)
4. Use your Teamspeak, Ventrillo, XBL thing or any other kind of voice system.
5. Keep a keen eye or hearing for any incoming vehicles cuz you might become roadkill.
6. Look around you if anyone of your guys or the enemy is lobbing nades (self-explanatory)
7. Keep on bunny-hopping to avoid your enemy to get a good aim at you.
8. Work with your teammates (very very very self-explanatory)
9. Look for proper cover (very very self-explanatory

finally and most importantly

10. Don’t be an ass

Keep on fragging people, idiots or nay-nay, who believe that the PS3 is WAY superior and better than the PC..

VoLCoMNaToR82

Get the first few kills. Go for an usefull power weapons. (or any weapon
your good with) Try to get one close and far range weapon. Find a nice
spot. get some more kills. Make sure you always have plenty of nades and
ammo.

A great way to win a match making game.

Play custom games to look for more strategies or hiding
spots.

1nfiniteSingularity

Long story. Some of you will remember Assassin073, well that is me. My
account played up on me, so I created this one. My GT is still Assassin073,
so don’t go looking up 1nfiniteSingularity on Bungie.net (gamertags can’t
start with numbers anyway).

I have a few general tips for you:

1: Two words – Battle Rifle. I know this may seem obvious to some and
overstated to others, but I cannot stress enough how important it is to
learn the BR. The BR55HB SR (more commonly known as the Battle Rifle or
Special Assault Rifle) is an all-purpose, balanced, efficient and flexible
weapon designed for most combat situations. It is the most useful weapon in
the game. Never, I repeat NEVER get rid of it for anything stupid
(including Shotgun/sword/mauler, brute shot, laser etc). If you need to,
swap it for Sniper, Rockets, or Carbine (as they are more balanced, i.e.
shotgun can only be used up close, but sniper can be used close, mid or
long ranges. Laser is too inefficient die to charge time) If you prefer the
Carbine, use that but there aren’t very many on very certain maps.

2: Pre-nade. When you go into a room and you are not sure whether there is
someone in the room, remember to bank nades from the walls into the room
just in case. Don’t think it is a waste of nades as there are many more on
the map so don’t fret.

3: Shotgun > Sword. Remember that now. Never ever ever ever EVER swap a
shotgun for a sword. Sure it looks flashy but apart from that it’s
useless.

4: Be careful when using lifts. Remember that you have no control where
you are going to land so it is easy for people to frag-BR you

5: Play fast paced. Remember to think on your feet and not to hesitate.

6: Learn all the callouts for the maps. If you communicate properly, you
have a much better chance of winning.

7: Don’t worry about stats too much. Whether you get a positive k/d ratio
or not in a Team Slayer match can be the deciding point on victory or
defeat. In an objective game, don’t worry too much about that at all.

8: Remember that, between an AR and a BR, when both are going for a melee,
the AR will win. When both people are at a distance, the BR will win.
Generally

9: When sniping, don’t hesitate and wait for a perfect headshot. Shoot
what you see instantly. ALways aim for the head, but don’t hesitate just
because you aren’t aiming for the head. Just go for the two bodyshots.

10: Don’t just rush. Be patient, but not passive. Be strategic and not
overly aggressive.

If all else fails, the most sensible thing to do would be to throw your
controller at the TV and scream your ass off. Good luck.
