Hey, Podtacular, it’s me again!
When you’re all alone in a LAN game with only four players, Forge is there
to help.

Name = Quarantine
Map = Sandtrap
Type = Infection (1 to 3 (on Elephant) versus 1)
Weapons = AR and Magnum (Humans)/Shotgun (Zombie)
Special Options = Zombie has 200% health, infinite Grenades.

The 3 people on the Elephant turn into Monitors, board an Elephant, and
begin creating objects to “pimp out” their Elephant. The other player is
elsewhere, as he/she is to walk out to the Elephant and break through the
defenses and capture the Elephant. Players on the Elephant may only use
the weapons they are started with and must utilize their Elephants Defense
if they wish to win. This is fun in small LAN parties with 3 or 4 people. I
came up with this on the first night I played the game.

Well i was bored one day and decided to make a race track.It is a form of
territories with obstacles to overcome.You use a mongoose.It alot more fun
with partners because everyone has a plasma pistol,2grenades,1plasma, and 1
firebomb so u can slow down your opponents.But you need to download the new
map i made to for it to work right. My gamertag is UNWRITTEN LAW19

I heard a bunch of the zombie rules last episode and heard a few that
sounded similar, and the quote about “being on the mongoose and hearing my
partner go ‘oh crap!’” leads me to believe you weer playing a spinoff of
the Resident Evil rules, on the map Vegas (sandtrap with a bunch of
vehicles at the human starting point, but no banshee.)

The game basics are: 1 zombie vs all humans, and every kill the zombie
gets, that person is turned to a human. There is no going back (it’s a
zombie movie, the zombies ALWAYS win!) with zombies having unlimited
respawns, while the last surviving human gets boosted shields, 150% speed,
and 200% damage, while he gains oddball-style points just for staying
alive, in addition to gaining points for killing zombies. Some people
prefer to give the last survivor invisibility and/or a waypoint.

Basically, the alpha zombie gets 300% runspeed, 50% gravity, 300% damage
bonus, partial invisibility, and has nothing but a sword (he cannot pick
up grenades.) The Alpha Zombie also is stuck with a waypoint visible to
everyone for the entire game, but he has 150m radar and can see everyone
at all times with it. Noone starts with a hammer, because it’s simply way
too easy to flip vehicles with a hammer, and if noone has a chance to stay
alive it really sucks.

Regular zombies get 300% speed, 50% gravity, 200% damage, and have a
limited supply of grenades but cannot pick up more. Some people do not
like the very low gravity, but leaping becomes strategic because it causes
the zombie to be an easy target for any turrets on warthogs, etc.

The basic premise of the game is to get into a vehicle asap, and just
floor it and never stop. You can kill zombies for points, zombies get
points for killing humans. each round the lowest scoring player becomes
alpha zombie (he’s basically gauranteed a couple points for bing alpha,
and is rarely the lowest score the next round). The only negative is when
you get a very crummy player as alpha, it can take a few minutes for them
to sneak up on the vehicles since he has a waypoint, but someone
eventually gets cocky and goes down.

Once there are two zombies, the game picks up speed, and the surviving
human rarely survives for more than a matetr of seconds, since it’s pretty
much suicide to get out of your vehicle (the 150% run speed for the
survivor allows him a small chance to switch vehicles.)

A friend of mine named “Issac Hikari” created this a couple days after
Halo came out. While he went on to “totally trick it out” (read: ruin
everything) I saved a copy in my fileshare with the old “vanilla rules”
and vanilla map.

My friend and i just recently forged a map on guardian took off all weapons and started fresh. Were the elevator is if u look to ure right and left looking to the highest point of the walls we placed some weapons really good ones their hard to get so even if u see them u can try and jump but not good enough without a portable grav lift or grenade if ure smart enough. We also made a perimeter by were the dead tree is were on the default map the bubble shield responds we placed a turret on the top of the dead tree which faces the center of map couldnt find the actual bunkers which stays permanent on the map so we had to use those covenant portable ones tossed them all around by the tree set some good weapons to hold that fort. Those permanent grav lifts that toss u to the center of the map right next to it we placed some turrets any random ones on every section were those lifts are or the mini man cannons what ever u want to call it all around the 3, but we thought with that much fire power those who go through the middle would be shot down instantly so we we placed some cannisters made us a crappy fort in the center placed theme in the shape of a wall and inside we placed rockets grenades mainly what u need to take down those turrets. Finally were the shotgun responds on default were the small passage way is we placed a teleporter which leads to were the center of the map is right above theirs a structure that u cant get to when u try and jump only with a teleporter so thats were we placed it really good weapons are their including the flamethrower but we had to think of something its easy to get to the teleporter so we placed a raod block also cannisters covering the teleporter and in between the teleporter and the cannisters we placed those energy containers so if were to throw a grenade to the back of the containers all will blow up and toss everything forward its bulletproof… LOL We renamed Guardian as (millenium lockout) if u want to play this created map (jeangarydiablo2) and me (xxXRAIDEDxx) shall be waiting u keep rockin podtac till than later

Hey guys this is Nick from NSW Australia, my gamer tag is Shasel and I’ve
been trying to find a way to make a twist to zombie games and I can up
with Vampires. In the base i built it of alpha zombies with the game ups
theme, and is played on a variant of sand trap. Ok so humans spawn along
with some vehicles including some mongooses, warthogs, prowlers and ammo
for there starting weapons shotgun and AR. They have 150% shields and
regular walking speed.. The alpha vampire spawns on the other side with
brute shot and needler (all other vamps have AR instead of needler). Hes
got 300% run speed, active camo, no vehicle use and 90% shields. Now the
vampires have a 100% leech on their damage which means they need to do
damage to stay alive against there human combatants. I’ve just tried to
even things out and stop stuff like people hiding on the outside of the
map with 15 zombies chasing them. Thats about it its up on my file share,
keep on fraggin Roo’s.

This is nick from down under my gamer tag is ShaselOk this is a simple game
of 1 on however many people you have but you just set the game up on any
large map and have only the party leader be able to go into forge mode.
Start a team slayer game and put all players against the party leader with
300% speed low shields and rockets with unlimited ammo. The party leader
must stay in forge and is restricted to use a tank as a shield/hammer.
This can get very interesting and works with about 2-8 players. Shout out
to all you guys at podtacular keep up the good work and my boy Kevin Rudd
he’ll the PM in a few weeks no doubt, keep on fraggin Roo’s.

Hey guys this is my first time writing in to podtac but I have been a
listener for about a year now, I just wanted to tell you guys about an
awsome game type that my freind made called “Tom and Jerry”. It is a
juggernaut game where every one has hammers, the juggernaut is supper fast
has lowest gravity possable, can pick up weapons and grenades and is
invisable. The normal people are very slow have maximum gravity(so that
they are very heavy)cannot pick up any thing and have constant over
sheilds. When a normal player respawns they are granted super speed,
invinsability and low gravity for a short time so that they can get back
with there team mates. The slow normal players are forced to stick
together because the juggernaut can easly pick any one off that leaves the
pack, and the juggernaut needs to plan his strikes so that he doesn’t get
owned by the tougher normal players. This game type is best played on
gaurdian with at least 6 players. I will try to get this up on my file

Before I tell you about my custom I have 3 things to tell you: 1: I’ve been listening since episode 89 and I love the show!; 2: I don’t have Xbox Live and therefore can’t share my files; 3: When I say “Crows Nest” I am talking about my custom map. NOT the single player mission.

OK, now for the map… The original Version was on construct, but i have versions on Narrows, Epitah and The Pit. On construct the glass outcropping which looks like a landing pad is the so-called “Crow’s Nest”. There are 3 machine gun turrets with a wall around them. The attackers must destroy the crow’s nest in order to win. The wall is made out of crates, boxes and barricades. However there is a weakness. Behind the wall there is a 2nd wall made of Fusion Cores. So a well placed sniper round or offensive grenade and BA-BAM! There goes the defensive base! As for the machine guns, they can fire in any direction that the offensive team is coming from. However, the offensive team has some cover. But getting to the Crows nest is no easy task. The cover is very limited and there are no missile pods, plasma turrets or machine guns to repel with. There IS a flamethrower on top of one of the crates that makes up the offensive cover, but getting close enough to use it is VERY risky. The only sniper rifle is in the offensive territory and is out in the open so it isn’t very easy to get. But if someone is lucky enough to get it, It can be a quick match IF it’s in the hands of a good sniper. Finally, in the back, near the central grav lift, Hidden from the defenders behind a stack of crates is the forward command center which, just for th sake of looking cool, has some laptops like on high ground and has a Shotgun and 2 Battle Rifles resting against the “Barricade”. I haven’t been able to try it out in a full scale, 5 vs. 5 battle yet. But if you, Foo Mo or you JVB, aka Cock-a-Doodle-Noob, could create it for use on Xbox Live, that would be great! So… shout out to Capn’ Krunk and BrentGamer (is that all one word?) and keep on fraggin floating hard hats!

PS: for those of you who don’t get that “Cock-a-Doodle-Noob” thing, go listen to episode 90, if you dare!

I made a remake of the Halo 1 multiplayer level Chiron TL 34, (the one with
all the teleporters). it is on the pit its made of 5 rooms connected by 1
way and 2 way teleporters. all the exits to the rooms are blocked off so
you go from room to room not knowing what the other rooms have in store
for you. the only explosives on the map are trip mines and incinederary
grenade there are no close range weapons so you cant just camp to get
kills. there is lots of equippment that makes the map fun to play, lots of
flares and radar jammers. ive tested it with my friends and they really
like it. it is on my file share, my gamertag is DynomiteMonkey7 keep on
fraggin stuff

hey guys its me again ShotgunFreindly. anyways my custom and creation map
is Valkrine a rethink of valhalla. i know valkrine is mispelled but just
go with me anyways its still in the beta stages but still a very good map
that is up for grabs in the halo3 Tips/Gametypes and map edits. anyways
well this is my first true forge map i basically took valhalla put the
shotguns inside the base now replaced the banshees with hornets but made
the spawn annoyingly long for balance issues, put a chopper at each base
these really work well on valhalla as the hilly terrain make it great for
the choppers to get around with boost. i put an extra sniper at each base
on the hill sides.
removed the missile pods from the bases and the turret at the middle and
put on missile pod there this is a very strong power weapon this time
around as the hornet needs to be taken down fast. put a rocket and spikers
at the crashed pelican and a gravhammer at the radio antenna.
i removed the power drainer in each base and placed two trip mines
instead. i also placed two turrets next to the mancannon which are very
effective at repelling enemys so team work is essantial to win on this map

i currently have the dreaded RROD and am waiting for my 360 to return so
no update will come anytime soon. the map is best done on assault or CTF. oh and if your wondering yes i copied and pasted this from the topic on the
forums no im not plagiarizing its my own.

another gametype and map im working on is BanHammer a territory map on
construct were the defender or “Banhammer” must protect two servers from
the flamers and hackers. the banhammer is almost unstoppable and must be
brought down with team work. all the flamers and hackers have different
weapons and the main flamer has a flamethrower which is the only true
weapon that can stop the banhammer on its own. anyways the map is not done
and wont be done due to again RROD. anyways love the show and i gota hand
it to ya even without halo in it its still very good many laughs cough
cough Russian Kalab cough cough.

so anyways keep on doing what ever u do to whatever u like doing it in
whatever way is best suited to you

I currently have 2 favorite maps:
Scarab assult:
Tank overlord made this awesome map, basically, he used the teleporter
glitch to create a “scarab” in the water of Last resort. The attacking
team has to board the scarab and plant a bomb in the scarab’s lower level
by climbing a leg and droping through a red crate in the back.
tubaguhbluba posted about it, but I don’t think it got the attention it
diserves.
Slip N’ Slide V2:
I got this idea from a similar gametype I found on Bungie.net. The game is
set on the sloped roof of one of the bases on narrows. You spawn at the top
with a sword and hamer and slide down, thanks to the sloped floor.
Eventually, you reach teleporters on the bottom that take you back up top.
On your way down, you can move slowly left and right but can’t jump. You
lunge into enemies to kill them, it is a fun distraction from the constant
action and pressure of matchmaking.

ships if one of the funnest games you will play. also my friend made this
very awesome…arena football. its a neutral bomb assault game that is

hi guys it’s heavyfire grunt and hears my tale from the fox hole i was
playing lone wolves on gardien and this guy with the pimp cane (gravity
hamer) came at me and i had a stiky granade and i was aming for his head
but it ended on his crotch and blows him up. i also have a map varient on
my file share called self detenator that my friend hunter 310 mad what he
did was on high ground wher the gat is he put propane tanks fushion cores
and other things and put a gravv lift and once it starts its preaty bad
ass thanks fore the great show and keep on fragin tweenty foot tall
grunts

Hey guys, Gamepro sounding off. I took an extended break from Halo when I
got my 360; its good to be back. Anyway, I want to submit my reimagined
version of Construct. I love the map, but it seems to me that for some
reason, most people don’t (maybe because of the constant camping). Also, I
always thought it would be a great map for objective gametypes. I moved the
flag and bomb points, changed the king of the hill and territory points,
and made the level more base-like through inventive box and fusion core
placement. I also placed one grav lift, which should allieviate the
camping issue and create new ways to storm the base if you are tricky. The
map should play best on attack/defend game types. Infection should also be
fun, and I made a zombies game that I thought might work well. Both the
map and the gametype are on my fileshare. Try it out. The level is
Quarantine, the gametype is Influenza, and my gamertag is Gamepro330. Keep
on fragging warthogs, ghosts, mongeese, banshees, hornets, High Charity,
and anything else deserving a good fraggin’.

It’s Swift Ninja1 here! I’m new to the community and this is my first
time submitting. I’ve been listening to Podtacular isnce like episode 30 I
think. Anyways, I have a really fun forge map. It’s called Playground and
is on High Ground. After I made it, I realized they both had the the word
ground after it. You start off on the beach. There are all the vehicles
around you and all the weapons in front of you. On the rest of the level
is many fun games. There is a giant continuous explosion at the Slaser
spawn, there are propane takes that make like firecrackers, and there is a
shooting mini- game where you shoot the telephones with the sentinel on the
boxes at the bubble sheild spawn. The map and gametype are on my file
share. Good job on the podcast and keep on frggin’ trucks and salty

i dont know if its been done yet or not… but i made a paintball course on
zanzibar. ive had some good reviews from my friends and theres, wat else
do i do?

I was really bored one day, so I decided to make a portal themed variant of
sandtrap. I have a series of teleporters arranged in such a way that, if
successful, you maintain a constant velocity, ricocheting all across the
map, before coming back to start and beginning the cycle anew. It still
needs a few tweaks to get the ‘run’ foolproof, but it works crazy good
when run well.

It’s hard to describe, but easy to play. It can be found in my file share,
under ‘Portal Desert’.

I’ve invented a new game type, that is crazy fun for LAN party’s. What it
boils down to is: 150% movement speed, random weapons, damage dealt is
increased, but vitality is as well. Gravity is slightly less too. I call
it Unreal Halo 3, and it can be found in my file share.

Also, while completely unoriginal, I also have Hell (Random Weapons Only)
there too. It’s a lot of fun, especialy on small maps.

I have a mode that I made that I call hardcore mode. In this mode you have
times 4 over shields, but no shield recharge, and ten percent damage
resistance. And you have 150% speed, and 75% gravity. And on top of all
this you have 2 random weapons with unlimited ammo, and you can not pick
up other weapons. I find that this variant is best played on isolation, or
the guardian variant boxing paranoia. I also want to say that you can look
on the podtacular forums to find links to the maps without anything on it.
Now most people already know this, but I wasted my time by clearing out two
maps before I found out about the maps already having been made. And lastly
there is a fun assault map variant of last resort called scarab assault. I
do not remember who made it, but he made a scarab out of boxes in the
ocean part of the map, and you have to get inside of the scarab to arm the
bomb. By tonight I should have my hardcore mode, and the maps boxing
paranoia, and scarab assault on my file share. By the way my gamertag is
thundrio.

Hey guys, TheRussianKoLoB here with a new gametype that drive_c and I made.
It’s called, Gaylo. This game’s origins are from Halo 2 matchmaking. Me and
my friend drive_c would begin to commit suicide and betray each other if we
were in a game that we were getting slaughtered on. We basically tried to
get as many negative points as they had positive points. Anyways, back to
the gametype. It is a basic team slayer with a bit of a twist: you get -5
points if you kill someone on the other team. You get +1 point for
suicides and betrayals. So for you to win you have to kill your own team
members, not the other team. That is the watered down explanation of the
game. The fact that you can’t kill the other team if to win makes it hard
to play because you have to think about not killing them and instead
killing your own teammates.
We are still working on it to get it fine tuned and by the time this comes
out it should be ready. We are also working on a map for this game. They
should be on either drive_c’s or on my fileshare or both. Great job with
the podcast. Like to give a shout out to Sqweryl, drivec, Dude5846, and
everyone at Rec E. Keep on using old smelly hats and Golden Melees.

This is a great custom game.
Moose Pups

One team is brown, they are mooses. There is also a player who is white. He is the arctic wolf. Set VIP to have sword, needler, double damage and
100% speed aura. The VIP of brown is father moose and only uses needler
cause his antlers are like needles. He is not allowed to use the sword. The arctic wolf has the same weapons (VIP) but can only use sword because
his teeth are like big swords. Everybody else does not have any weapons. They are just newborn mooses, so set default players to only move at 25%
move speed. As long as the moose pups follow the moose leader, they will
probably be ok. The wolf must eliminate all the moose pups and is not
allowed to kill the moose until the last one. Mooses win if the wolf
can’t eliminate everybody. Mooses must constantly be moving to different
locations. Everybody only has 1 life.

Hey guys, new to the community but have been listening to the podcast for
awhile.

I’ve recently made a map on forge, it’s a variant of Last Resort called
Racing Resort. All of the weapons, vehicles, and equipment have been
deleted from the map, except for six mongooses (or mongeese?). Basically
it’s a race track, and while it’s not a brand new idea, I’m hoping to
eventually make more tracks and even form some kind of a league. The track
is great because it includes a turn through the water, and the final
stretch includes jumping through the giant windmill.

To go with this map (and any future racing maps) is a slayer variant
called Halo Racing. No time limit, unlimited kills, so the game never has
to end. Players start with magnums and weapon damage is at zero%. I’ve
basically done everything I can to avoid people killing each other, as the
game is meant for racing, not killing each other.

I’ve tested it with a few friends and it’s a great time. Good way to get
some cool screenshots and film clips, especially when someone tanks it and
goes crashing through barriers. Both the map and game are in my fileshare.

Dear fellow Podtacularians, Though there is a 100 custom items limit, I still have some cool
customs which we have played during the Custom Saturday sessions. The
first is called “Slip n’ Slide” which takes place outside the map on
Narrows. You spawn on this ramp outside of Narrows that is one of the
structures holding the bridge up. When you spawn, you cannot jump even if
you press A and you ultimately fall very slowly to your doom. The catch is
that there are several teleporters faced on the sides of the ramp that
teleport you back to the top of the ramp to ensure your safety. What
really makes this game fun is that this map was designed for using the
Gravity Hammers and Frag Grenades, and when Free For All is turned on
it’s a blast! With the Gravity Hammers, you can propel yourself to the
sides of the ramp so you can go in the teleporter, hit grenades back right
at your opponents, or you can simply make your opponents fly off of the
ramp to their doom.
The second successful map that we have played on is a map called “Watch
your Step” which is a King of the Hill gametype on Isolation. This is
game is a regular Team King of the Hill game where the hill is on top of
the silver structure on the top of the hill on the map. Trip mines
automatically spawn on the top of the hill which can be used for the hill
controlling team’s benefit to ward off their opponents. If that wasn’t
hard enough, there are key places blocked off around the map with
teleporters leading to the “hole” which is filled with many
explosives. The only way to get out of the hole is to carefully crouch
walk past the explosives or wait till they explode by an unsuspecting
nade.

The last map which was coveted by many is the “Portal Party” map. This
game is a Team Slayer game played on The Pit where each team spawns at
opposite buildings on the 2nd floor. There is a wide variety of weapons
you can choose from but there aren’t any cheap ones like rocket
launchers because each of the doors on the 2nd floor is blocked off, and
the only way to enter the fray is by a teleporter nearby which leads into
where the Sword spawns on this map. There is another teleporter inside the
little room which leads to another room where there are powerups and better
weapons that can be used. This game is fun while it has a huge battle in a
little room with a large party and equipment such as deployable cover and
bubble shields can turn the tide of a battle.

What`s up podtacular

I did a race map while ago to the map called Guardian.
Yes you might think how can you race in Guardian..but it`s possible,trust
me
There are couple cool things such as two bridges(they are pretty cool)
and 1 spot where you really have to have some driving skills..well
actually two

My race map is called Drive Skillz(i added the Z so it would look cooler
for little kids)
I have 2 diffrent map types for it.. 2P and 4P
2P is variation for 2 players and 4P is for 4 player
Be sure to download also game mode i made for it,it`s called Racer Mode
I also have a film clip what shows HOW TO drive the map in my fileshare,
if you want to see where to drive,but its not hard so dont worry about
that.

Guardon(i dont know what it means,just made it up) is bit tweaked map
It has almost every deflaut gun re-placed with something,and there are few
BR`s so people can use the gun what was lackin in Guardian.
There are also 2 snipers on map incase some people camp at the place where
overshield normally spawns in normal guardian.
I changed the place for overshield and invisibility
Sword is in middle of map,but be careful because someone might get sniper
before you get sword.
Enough of my bad english,i hope people enjoy the maps and mayby send me a

This is one crazy Map as everyone starts with of course rockets &
shotguns. However as with my last one there are some traps on the map & a
bonus as you may be king but not for long.Also works great as a slayer
game as there are a couple hidden weapons. Also as there havnt been many
downloads on this I’m looking to rename it so if you have anyides let me
know.

Hey Podtacular its my first time sending in evan though i’ve listened to
you guys since episode 23 so here it goes. Me and my friends were playing
around on High Ground and we started spawn killing from the top. When i
remembered play Tower of Power in Halo2. Thats when i sat down for 4 hours
and created what i thought to be the best tower of power game yet in halo3.
You have normal shields and no radar and spawn wit shotgun and unlimited
ammo.I have 2 turrents on the top middle base. All weapons have been taken
off. Down on the beach there is two invis and two custom power ups. You
also have two mongooses. Up top you have two overshields and 1 trip mine.
There are also grav lifts to take you to higher camping places. Down on
the beach there is a bubble shield as well as up top. Everything spawn
every second so u always go back to get it. Works best with 16 people.

Hey… it’s Chazzozz here(from Australia)

I’ve got two forge creations that i’ve made but sadly i made them with a
non-xbox live account so i can’t upload them. Anyways here is my first:

Elephant flipping; I put a whole load of fusion coils and plasma batteries
on one side of an elephant. Then we got rocket launchers and shot it… the
result; a flipped elephant. I went up to it and on the screen it says “Hold
RB to flip… wait, what? How did you do that?” You guys should definitely
try this.

Camping on High Ground: Where the spartan laser is, there is a canopy type
thing above and there is a hole in this canopy, what we did was put two
crates there so that we could get up there but what we did was we put
fusion coils around the crates so that when we shot the coils the crates
would go flying and no-one could get up there… until the crates respawn.
We put all sorts of weapons up there, two bubble sheilds and two mongeese
for quick escape.

Hey Podtacular, Super Powers here

One is the Famed Team Bubble Bath, i heard it from last customs and
creations. i decided to make my own.
i Have a section blocked off in the water on Last Resort with snipers and
only head shots count as point. beat downs and assasination’s count as -5.
Ive Managed 3 Killtrocities in this game its in my file share with the map
and game type called team bubble bath.
Another is HotWheels which my Friend Ochoe made.it takes place on narrows.
everyone spawns at a man cannon. you go off the man cannon, you either have
rockets or spartan lasers. if you make it across you have enough momentum
you go through a teleporter and back over. there is a gravity lift that
pushes you into the man cannon. so no one cheats. This is not in my file
Share Yet.

Final Note: My Brother is very anal about file Share spots so it might not
be there.
