That's what he means. When the TV is on, there is no green, so everything is off color.
Projection TVs wear so I think that's what it is. The color tubes need to be replaced.
DLP and Rear Projection are some what different designs , i was just thinking that because my rear projection is 3 LCD that his might be too and that uses filters and mirrors.
Probably overstating the obvious but:
Check to make sure you're using the proper component cables, and everything's plugged in nice & snugly.
Most HDTVs use separate inputs for red, green, and blue (unplugging the 'green' cable would do exactly what you describe)
I Dont think all these super large 100 inch projectors are all that I mean the games were never meant to be played on screens that size surely you lose some picture quality.
I have a 52 inch rear projection HDTV (1080i) and a 42 inch plasma (up to 1080i). I love my rear projection tv but for some games, like the H3 beta, it did some overscan and some of the hud would be missing so I've been playing on the 42 inch.
i dont have a 360 yet, but when i get one, i'm planning on a monitor. how good can a monitor be for gameplay in anybody's experience? (i don't have the money for an HDTV, especially after buying a 360)
My setup is a 32" Flatscreen Display. Has HD, but cuts off the edge of the picture, and doesn't support 720p (only 1080i and 720p). But who cares, it looks amazing!
I know how you feel foomo I have a 16" TV that makes a beeeping sound when its on too long *sigh* but im 15 so I have to live with it because my parents dont think I need one.
I Have A 52" HDTV IN MY Den were no one but me likes to go because it's really could in there, so i have it all to my self. i pre ordered halo3 legendary edition, i'll be staneding in line at midnight 4 it
Not to brag... but i've got a 62" HDTV with a HD-DVR from DirecTV and... last but not least a 360 HD-DVD attachment. Unfortunantly my suround sound is from the early 90"s so i can't hook it up with my 360.
Nope i have an old like 32 inch tv that doesnt even have a remote. However i do have surround soudn that sounds very nice in Oblivion and Gears, and probably even better in Halo 3.
