We are ready to wrap up our saga tonight with the final decade show, featuring the history and evolution of Halo.  Tonight’s discussion will be focused around what we all know and love: the multiplayer.  We were bewildered with maps like Sidewinder, Hang ‘em High, and Blood Gulch.  And with the release of Halo CEA being only three days away, we are going to be able to relive some of those classic moments.  Make sure to come join us live on Ustream.tv at 19:00 Eastern and relive those moments with some of the top community leaders.

Final Podtacular Decade Show

This Saturday, we will be having our final Decade show.  All of those long hours that you have spent listening to us ramble about the game we all love and care about is about to come to a close, but not to worry.  We are looking forward to this panel being as great, if not greater than our other panels.  We will be focusing on the multiplayer and other aspects of the Halo game, like Forge and Theatre.  There will be lots of big names there and as usual, will be broadcasted live at 7:00PM Eastern.

I Went as a Skull!

This week’s Halo Bulletin is littered with Haloween-filled content.  Some of the people in the 343 office decided to dress up.  Frankie as Spock… still not sure how I feel about that.  All the skulls that will be in Halo CEA have been announced: now we just have to go find them.  In the meantime, if you’re planning to stay up for midnight launches of CEA, check the bulletin and see if there’s a Microsoft Store near you that will be throwing a party to celebrate.  You can also check out the official Campaign Trailer and High Noon Gameplay.

Data Drop Discussion

Over the past two months, we’ve seen ONI Data Drops pop up on Waypoint that has given us some background information on some of the things that were happening within ONI during the events of Reach.  One of the mysterious things contained in these drops is Operation Red Flag.  We are going to have a discussion about these Data Drops on this week’s podcast on Friday.  If you have any questions or comments on the information contained within, please send us a submission.

Ready for Duty

The Official Campaign Trailer for Halo CEA popped up in several places this week and is now on Waypoint.  For most of us veterans, it’s a nice flashback to the original experience that we’ll see with awesome new graphics.  For people that might not have gotten their start on the original, it presents a nice bridge between Reach and CEA.  Go check it out.
