Hi everyone.

This will be my final blog entry, I guess. After a week or so of consideration, I have made my decision. I am sorry friends, but I will be resigning from the community. No, this is no joke. This isn't a false alarm like what I attempted last time. This is a personal choice that I have debated and delayed for some time now, for many reasons.

So you ask why? I need to take a step back, just like Foo Mo Jive and the Podcast. There are many reasons (Xbox Live, School, Activities, etc.) but the main reason is that I just want to become a casual gamer. Don't get me wrong, I really do like representing and being apart of a kickass Halo community, but there just comes a time when enough is enough. Its hard to explain my feelings about the situation in text, and I apologize if I have confused you.

I will not be disappearing forever, I assure you. No, disappear is a bad word for it. I really do like the forums, and on my free time I may still post. And I will not be exiting the Halo-Gaming community either. Occasional visits to Halo.Bungie.Org won't hurt, right? Maybe when the load lightens I'll come back. Maybe. Just maybe.

What will I be doing away from Podtacular? Recently I've been working hard on getting better at guitar. Its tough without a guitar tutor, but I'm slowly working at it. I can't let my drums collect dust either. Music is my thing :). Gaming-wise, I will still be playing video games. I'll be playing a lot of offline games like Guitar Hero and some FPS campaign. Not having Xbox Live has its ups and downs. You can't play with your friends, but you can get by all the trash talk.

A lot of people are asking me why I don't renew my Xbox Live account. Its mostly a financial thing, actually. If you didn't know, I am only 15. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find a job this summer. To make matters worse, I had lost my wallet during my vacation in California. I was planning on renewing the subscription (and buy some other stuff) with the money in there when I got back, but I guess that didn't happen. Funny thing is, someone did find it and tried to reach us while we were still away. By the time we got back and reached the person, they had lost the wallet themselves. Real bummer, there was at least $80 in there.

Well, there you have it my friends. You could call it my farewell, my reasoning. If you still see me posting don't flip. As for the Rec clan and stuff I will get that all sorted out with Dialpex, don't you worry. Thanks for everything guys, if I don't see you around the forums or wherever. In text I just want to thank a few people who have made my time here so much better...

Foo Mo Jive, of course. When I first joined the community (back as Spartan331) I asked Mr. Jive if I could ever become Clan Staff or Forum mod. He told me "Would clan staff talk like that?". Thanks for the inspiration and the wonderful Podcast, Mike!
