Ok so it's not like a Tritton AX360 or AX PRO or steel series but it is still pretty dam good
Read on for more :-D
So I have been looking around for a long time to get something that can play voices AND game sounds when KBC's summer blog (1) popped up with his marvellous Tritton headset. I thought to myself 'Finally, just what I need.'
but... yes, there is a but...
Here in Australia the only supplier charged $215!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so... I decided that it was that or buy it from e-bay fifty bucks less but with no customer support. I found a good buy-it-now auction for $145 (inc. postage) and decided it would have to do. I then went out (on the night I was planning to buy it from e-bay, I'm not kidding. The reason I went in to town was to deposit money into my dad's paypal bank account) wandered into EB games and saw this litte beauty for 50% off.
The bad thing is, because it is a PC headset, I needed a 3.5 millimetre extension cord to reach my Surround Sound system and a 3.5 to 2.5 millimetre adaptor for the Microphone jack on the controller! The extension cord means that there is quite a bit of cord at my feet.
So, hey presto... $70 poorer but 100% happier (so is the family, seeing as they don't need to hear me playing)
It's so good in my opinion that even when no one is home I still use this instead of my sound system and MS mic!

EDIT: ^^^ haha, I forget to draw on the microphone ^.^
