Kia blogs again!

Ooooh, a lot of stuff to blog about this time round...

So May has been really crazy for me, and will be crazy until the end of the school year. A lot of projects, a lot of work. Yet I still have time to fit some gaming here and there. Maybe its not called gaming. Moreof, slacking. haha.

So if you're in the Rec clan and wondering, the second part of the PRU won't be released 'till this weekend, or the weekend after. I have a project due at the end of the week, and need to do work for another one over the weekend. Gotta step up my game and stop slacking, I must say.

Trips, trips...

I'll be leaving for sunny california in July, for about a good week. It'll be nice to kick back in the warm weather, and revisit some family. We are going for a wedding or something, I really don't know.

I'm so stoked for MLG 2009. I asked my parents about it, and I will most likely be attending MLG Meadowlands next year. Yeah, yeah, its a year away, but I am just so excited, I cant wait. I already am making mental lists of who I want to see, bringing a camera, all this fun stuff. Maybe I'll see you there. ;)

New computer!

We ordered our new family computer yesterday. Unfortunately our current desktop, already suffering from problems beyond fix, just would not boot up the Linux partition the other day. With Dell's mother's day sale going on, we purchased a tricked out new family computer. Go discounts.

Paintballin!

So I have made the decision to pick up a paintball gun this summer. After wild debate, and some help from Dialpex and a few other friends, I have decided to purchase a Tippmann A5 (w/ Response Trig). Its gonna be a nice toy to play with over the summer. I won't be getting it till like mid summer, however.

I'll give another week or so before releasing a new version of Liveground. Right now I'm working on a new project. Remember that ol' stinky map that went from good to bad, Revert? Yeah, well Revert v6 is going to be released sometime later this year...

I was really unsatisfied with the final outcome of "MLG Revert". All the renovations just made it...well..not feel like Revert anymore. That's why I have chosen to COMPLETELY scrap the map and start from scratch. Geometry will be smoother, new things will be added (more modern techniques; I started Revert the first week Foundry came out), and I guarentee: A better spawn system.
