Expanding the Insider's Club

Hi everyone!

I am happy to announce that the PodRec Insider's Club will expand into the Podtacular Pro Clan. We will now use this group to discuss ALL events/plans related to the Podtacular Clans, how awesome! The main reason for this is that I am now working to rebuild the Pro Clan....let's hope this goes well!

Now I'd like to get some feedback on what you would like to see from the Podtacular Pro Clan. Please make your posts thoughtful and helpful. I'm interested to see what you have in mind.

Hi every one!! I was curious to see if I could get our insider group to help me out. I have started a thread in the new members area of the forums "Introduce Yourself" to help new members become more active in the community. My thread is called "New members Meet and Game". Please just take a second and read this thread and let me know what you think.

I bring this request to you the rec clan insiders club because you all are the most active posters. Every one here always takes the time to say hi to new members and to let them know to send a clan application. So in your welcome posts to new members can you make mention to check out my thread or link them to it?

I will host these games and invite some vets in maybe some lead members (Freak in the Box, JP Oliver, you know who you are) so the new members can meet some vets and find out what they do around the community. This in turn with any luck keep these new members around and active.

Let me know if you guys have any ideas and if you can help!

Rec BTB Weekly?

Whats up guys? I ran this idea by Kia and JP both of them grave me some great feedback (thats why there paid the big bucks,jk).I was thinking of starting a thread in the rec clan forums for a BTB battle group for rec clan members only. To meet at the same time and day each week. I was thinking maybe 9pm est thursday night to work with time zones (6pm pst). Do you think this is decent times?

I know alot of people will sign up but in reality I might just get a full room and thats what I am going for. If more do show up I can do a first come first serve basis and as some people bale I can invite some in. In the event we do get a full party i can set up 2 parties allowing many clan members to play with each other.

I would like to play in matchmaking to keep the games moving along steady with no long intermissions in between games. My goal is just to play some good old fashon halo while building the comradery between new and old clan members. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any ideas and I can get this off the ground and into it's own special little rec clan thread.

Podtacular Rec idea- Hall of Fame

Hey everybody, I just got the idea of having a hall of fame dedicated to the members of the Rec Clan. I think this will give some active members their due, and will allow us to keep track of outstanding performances in Rec Clan tournaments and matches. If anybody has any positive feedback for me on this idea, let me know!
