Master Chief is still Halo 5’s Main Protagonist

There has been some speculation based off a comment made by Mike Coulter, who plays Agent Locke in the upcoming Nightfall production and in Halo 5, in a recent X-One Magazine interview where he says Locke will be the main character in Halo 5: Guardians.  While the main character part is true, he is not the main protagonist as Frankie confirmed on NeoGAF where he goes on to say that Chief is the main character and hero of the game. Frankie also confirms that 343 Industries is not looking to retire Master Chief from the series, which had many fans concerned for the future of the franchise.
