On April 20th, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition will become a standalone title aside from requiring to be bundled with Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition. HW:DE has been available since December 2016 for those who pre-ordered the ultimate edition on Windows 10 and Xbox One, but the standalone version will include Steam availability also supporting Windows 7. Players who purchase the Steam version will not be able to play with Windows 10 version owners of the game. Price is still unknown at this time, but we assume it will be between $20-30.
