Halo 5: Guardians Install Size and Day One Update Totals 55GB

After the recent announcement of Halo 5: Guardians going gold, an image of a retail copy of the game made its way onto the internet with the back cover stating an approximate 60GB install size will be required.  Microsoft has since clarified the details of the amount of space you’ll need available on your console.  The install size from the disc and pre-download if you bought digital is 46GB and the required day one update will be 9GB requiring a total of 55-56GB of available space at launch on your console.  Keep in mind this doesn’t include any of the free 18+ DLC maps players will receive post launch.
