    Get a humpday going!

  2. Brandon Letkeman says:

343i doesn’t seem to understand the problem. We don’t just want more playlists, matchmaking isn’t the issue. we want custom games to get fixed so that we can play our Halo. Give US the options so that we can make the game we want to play and you won’t have to put nearly as much work into keeping new content coming at us.

  3. Nate Brown says:

If Custom Games aren’t properly fixed soon I’m not buying Halo 5 and I’m certainly going to tell others to do the same. I don’t think 343 realizes how big and important custom games are for the success of Halo in general.

  4. Rob G says:

People (especially on Halo Waypoint’s forums) keep picking out the little things this guy says. I personally am happy with how he is handling this, no hes not ignoring the community, no hes not saying “oooo you want more playlists?!”, he is just trying something new. Who cares how much you cry over this game, just throw out your ideas on how the game could be better for you and stop thinking what you say is law. -_- (incoming hate mail because Rob denies you)

  5. Dust Storm says:

You all have good points. Appreciate the game for what it is, but be mindful of the little things. When you love a franchise, the little things stick out and for Nate and Brandon, they have some things they would like to see changed for the better. Like Rob said though, it’s not always about the little things.

  6. Burnerman EXE says:

Good listen, hopefully we’ll get more of these in the future. I was a bit worried we weren’t going to hear from 343 beyond weekly bulletins.

  7. Burnerman EXE says:

Thanks again Dust Storm, you asked good questions and sorry about the double post.

  8. Tom says:

Why did you not ask him why we can’t turn instant spawns off in customs game playlists that have them in MM? I don’t want intant spawns… let me turn the off

  9. Nick Otway says:

The Covenant Carbine has been nerfed! It is now 8 Shot kill to the head ! … WTF -_- The dmr is a 4 shot kill to the head !! Seriously 343i, it needs to be buffed in RoF (Rate of Fire)

The thing is that this isn’t a “little thing”, if it was simply a “little thing” it wouldn’t have a forum post with 148 pages of people saying how big a deal this is and how disappointed they are in 343i’s lack of attention to this “little thing”. For me and many others this was the reason that we played Halo, and the reason that we loved it so much more than other shooters, it had nothing to do with the storyline or the fact that it was in the future or the cool suits we got to wear. It wasn’t that it was the one game left that didn’t have ADS and an actually competitive and strategic way about playing the game. The reason many of us loved Halo was because we could do whatever it was we wanted and we were given the freedom and the tools to be as creative as possible. 343i has taken that away from us, and we are very hurt. It is a big deal because I and others no longer have a current, up-to-date game that provides the opportunities that Halo used to for us.
