This weekend presented us with a dump truck load of Halo 4 information. Whether it’s Campaign or War Games you’re after, there is information in here for everyone. We have some gameplay from the first and third missions of Halo 4, and if you were worried about it containing spoilers, you can put those fears to rest. Go watch the videos cause there’s nothing spoilerific about it. Spartan Ops gameplay footage showed us some vehicle combat in wide open spaces, showing off the increasing diversity of this brand new experience. And what would a news drop be without Multiplayer info. We got our first look at a new map: Solace and a new gametype: Dominion. If you haven’t already, take a look at last weekend’s news and then take a listen. Enjoy

This is just my opinion and this is directed to you Dust Storm. What I see as this podcast’s greatest strength and the biggest reason people tune in, is to hear your guys thoughts and opinions on the Halo news, not just the Halo news alone. So I would just like to know why you keep mentioning “this podcast has run for over an hour and I didn’t expect it to be this long, we need to work on shortening it” personally I could this listen to the Podtacular podcast for 3+ hours and not become bored. Again this is just my opinion though I’d like to bet others think the same, if we just wanted the Halo news we could just go on Waypoint or youtube to find out the details, anyway it’s just something to think about and keep up the good work.

Limbs, as in, arms, and legs.

Yea I agree with Lashon. I love podtacular. I just don’t have all the time in the world to listen like I did over the summer.

One of the biggest complaints we’ve received from guest hosts in the past was the extensive length of our shows. Dusty is just trying to decrease the time commitment required to listen to an episode of Podtacular.

I’ve traditionally listened to podcasts while performing other activities, so lengthy episodes never really bothered me. Back in the heyday of 1UP podcasts, some of those shows were 2-3 hours long on a slow news week.

The issue that we’ll encounter as we march on towards the release of Halo 4 is the enormous amount of topics that we will able to have interesting discussions about.

Yea. I wish it was still summer though when I had a lot more free time. I feel like a lot of listeners are feeling the weight of school coming back like myself.

  6. Rommel S says:

I don’t mind the long shows either. Actually I prefer the longer shows over the short ones. I listen to them while I’m driving at work.
