Podtacular 312: Making Prometheans, Covenant Weaponry

Download | Shownotes
With last week being the show that broke records (at least while I’ve been doing the show), we are making up for last weeks bulletin and covering this week’s as well. The Making Halo 4: Part 2 introduces us to the Prometheans: the warrior class of the Forerunners. The Knights are the centerpiece of the new enemy class, and with the cohesion of the new enemy types, prioritization is going to be key when you run into a group of them. Many of the Covenant classics are making a comeback in Halo 4′s arsenal of Covenant weapons. The Carbine makes it’s glorious return and the new Storm Rifle is the Plasma Rifle/Repeater replacement. Enjoy

I would just like to say that a Promethean Watcher would beat the Engineer because the Watchers have ‘Boltshots’, Engineers have no real way of defending themselves except in Halo 3 ODST when they were killed they would detonate sending out a cluster of explosive bombs. In addition Promethean Crawlers have other ways of attacking other than running up to Master Chief and physically hitting him, standard Crawlers have ‘Boltshots’ and Crawler snipes have ‘Binary Rifles’ and lastly Alpha Crawlers use ‘Suppressors’ as far as I know. I believe this has all been confirmed I’m not just making this up, anyway Thanks for the Awesome podcast keep it up! :D
