Best Singleplayer: Bioshock
I've played the demo, and the retail version over at my friends house. This game deserves best single player, IMO. Although I have never played Mass Effect, my experience from Bioshock is well enough to say that this game was an amazing Single Player title, with amazing storyline, graphics, music, and much much more.
Best Multiplayer: Call of Duty 4
Although I do not own Call of Duty 4, I have played the retail version of the game. The mutliplayer for this game really rocks, topping Halo 3. Always a good match to be played with fun maps and many weapons. No two matches are ever the same.
Biggest letdown: Timeshift
Great idea for a game, but unfortunately the multiplayer for this game sucked. Really not too much I can say about this, I haven't had too much experience with the retail version of this game.
Game that revolutionized the industry: Halo 3
Halo 3 really revolutionized the industry. Never have I seen SO MUCH advertising and propaganda for a single video game. The launch events were massive, as the popularity and demand for Halo 3 soared above any other game.
Best Downloadable content: Rock Band
Rock Band's downloadable content tops all other games. First having an advantage as a music oriented video game, but with so many new song packs available for download and coming in the future, this game earns this title.
Best 360 Game of the Year: Halo 3
Although not the greatest available game overall (multiplayer topped by CoD4), this game really gave the Xbox community one hell of a shake. For Xbox, this was what 2007 was about...the biggest game to hit their console: Halo 3.
Best Xbox Live Arcade or Playstation Network title: TMNT
This was a childhood favorite to me, and when it came to the Arcade, I bought it immediately. Offering online Co-op, this game brings back arcade memories with a modern kick.
Best Wii Game of the Year : Super Mario Galaxy
This game gets it hands down. No other Wii game has come this close (that is, until Brawl) to the success of this Mario game. Offering a wacky new plot, Mario returns on the Wii in an exciting new chapter in his adventures.
Best PS3 Game of the Year: N/A
Best Handheld Game of the Year: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
Pokemon strikes back with the return of its hand held series of games. Pokemon fans (and returning fans) all over got to experience Pokemon for the first time with Nintendo's awesome WiFi. This was an exciting new feature for trainers to trade and battle over the net, meeting people all over the world.
Best PC Game of the Year: N/A
Top three games of the Year:
Halo 3
Call of Duty 4
Mass Effect
