ODST is here and we are all excited what Bungie brought us in their latest. Campaign is a blast, and Firefight just makes it that much better. This was big for us, which explains why we have 4 guests hosts for this week: Amplified Silence, ChuckieJ, Captain Planet, and a new guest slayerstuv. We discuss the back story, the campaign and a little bit of Firefight, but we are still saving some for later. Around The Ring is back! Finally! Once again we’re late on the post, and once again it’s all Dust Storms’ fault. This week we continue the streak of terrible audio with the loss of my headset, and debate the pros and cons of Computers and Consoles as gaming platforms. Guess what the deciding factor was? Dropping in to guest host from Respawn Radio is Lono (pronounced “lawno”), Facehead from the Podtacular community, and everyone’s returning favorite: TheCrazyCommie! It was quite an episode, and made for a good start. As well you get the hear the new theme which…uh…well…hopefully you’ll like it more than I did!

And you thought last week was long? This week, GLewis went a little crazy and decided to read all the submissions, so we are having to split up the show into two episodes. Unfortunately, I was not able to make the recording, cause I had family in town, so GLewis was stuck with our guest. So apparently, we aren’t the only Halo podcast around, because our guest Ryaaan14 is from a Halo podcast called Real 7alk. This should have been out last week, but with the whole space crunch for our hosting, we had to be careful on the size of the show and the time of releasing this. Apologies for getting this one out late, but this is the first podcast where I’ve had to cut out stuff because of how long it turned out being. I manages to squeeze the podcast down to 100 minutes, so it’s still pretty long, but we’re sure you’ll like it. We included some new segments this week, which contributed to some of the clutter. We would really appreciate your feedback on them, so please let us know what you think.

This week, we covered two DLC Maps: Rat’s Nest and Orbital: two similar maps. We had an outstanding response from submissions and there are some really good tips in here.
