Watch Every Halo: Reach match from MLG Anahiem!

Instinct Goes Undefeated At MLG Anaheim
God squad aka WINstinct aka eon Instinct just went undefeated to take MLG Anaheim yesterday. For those of you who were not able to watch this match and many other awesome Halo: Reach matchup’s please stop reading and head over to MajorLeagueGaming.com right now. Really, do it.

Podtacular 253: MLG Dallas 2011 Recap

This past weekend was the first event of this year’s MLG Pro Circuit in Dallas, Texas. This year had a great kick-off with a great new venue with a fantastic layout. We got to see some new teams step up to the plate with the newly added Halo: Reach. I don’t think the stream did the venue all the justice it deserved, but it was the place to be for the weekend. This show features some of the people that went to Dallas and that I hung out with during the event along with a few other MLG followers around the site. Enjoy

Halo Reach Makes Way for the “Underdogs”
Whenever you switch up games in an event, it seems to always open doors for new teams to come in and take up the spotlight. This year’s underdog seems to be Impact, made up of Neighbor, a crowd favorite and some other new team members to the scene. We saw transitions like this take effect when Halo 3 took the place of Halo 2 on the MLG Circuit and no doubt the same thing is happening here. Top teams like Final Boss and Status Quo are going up against teams of equal or greater caliber that are new to the scene.

MLG Dallas Venue Changes
Usually when you watch the live stream or you go to an MLG event, you are used to seeing a venue filled with booths scattered along the walls with play stations lined up in the middle of the room. Main stage had this arena feel to it where the commentators were on high rises behind the bleachers of fans and spectators. Well, this ain’t your daddy’s MLG venue anymore. This year’s venue is held at the Dallas Convention Center instead of the Hilton Anatole like it has been for the past two years, and it’s a nice change with convenient parking, a beautiful courtyard that’s just outside the exhibition hall, and a lot more space.
MLG Dallas 2010 Championships Coverage
Over the past week, I’ve been releasing all the MLG related content we got via pictures, interviews and videos. The 2010 MLG Pro Curcuit Championships took place at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas on Nov 5th -7th, 2010. Podtacular Episode 240 – Podtacular
GLewis and Dust Storm talk about the last Halo 3 event on the circuit and how the transition to Reach will affect the circuit. Dust Storm also got an interview with Mazsik, coach of Final Boss that is played at the end of the episode. The interview is heavily focused on the coach’s aspect of a team since we usually hear from the players.

MLG 2010 Dallas Championships
I’m attending MLG Dallas right now and with fewer people than intended. Greg had to back out because of family issues and Brent moved back to North-West Texas. AceofSpadesCard from Cyberline films is here with me to help cover the event. He have two interviews lined up for this afternoon and we will 90% surely be doing a live show tonight on Ustream (reference earlier tweet). Some photo’s will be uploaded later today.
We also got to play some Killzone 3 Alpha stuff, which is making me more influenced to eventually buy a PS3. We also got to watch Dynasty beat Status Quo and just got back from watching Final Boss beat Carbon. More news to come.

MLG 2010 Pro Circuit Details Announced
For those who follow MLG, or participate for it in that matter, Major League Gaming has announced the first detail about the 2010 Pro Circuit. First location is Orlando, FL in the middle of April; A little late of a start if you ask me. For more details, check out the original announcement here.
MLG Dallas Updates
GLewis, Brent Gamer and I are here in Dallas for MLG Dallas and we are going to be releasing clips throughout the event, so make sure you keep up with the Podtacular twitter account and keep an eye on livestream.com for a couple of live events. We will be recording MLG Live someday this weekend, which will be live.

We get our first batch of user submissions ranging from MLG tips and questions to throw at the hosts. We also discuss the interview about Ghostayame and what he plans to do with his gaming career.
