Pretty much the motto of our matches. We lost one, but tied 2. So all in all they won.

Podtacular Rec vs Halo 3 Wheelmen

The Halo 3 Wheelmen are a clan from the Good Game Network and our veteran clan leader JP Oliver took on the large task of planning this event before school started back up for most people. Thankfully, he pulled it off! We had enough players that we could rotate some people in and out but not as many as were expected, based on sign-ups.

In both games, it came down to power weapon and vehicle control, as most Halo 3 matches do. A bubble shield does not a victory make.

First up was Team Slayer on Standoff and the Wheelmen lived up to their name. One warthog and a laser was really all they needed to keep us hiding in the base and quickly killed when we ventured out or spawned outside. This clan was working there’s just been a large delay in getting it front-paged. This clan is going to work differently from the Rec Clan. One thing I want to re-iterate first:

Podtacular All Stars Vs Halo 3 League

On Tuesday, Feb 5, we played some competitive games with the guys from Halo3League.com. Halo 3 League allows gamers to make their own tournaments, yes MAKE your own tournaments. For gamers good enough to take on opponents to win some money prizes range from $15 to $1100, and sign-up fees from $5 to $20. If not then you can also just play in some free tournaments for fun.

Podtacular All Stars vs Tied the Leader Gunslingers

On Saturday night, the Podtacular All Stars had the privilege to square off against the Tied the Leader Gunslingers. TTL, the short name for the site, has been around for quite some time. Although we did not have the chance to face off against TTL in Halo 2, we had to take this opportunity. The All Stars and TTL played a best out of five series, with the All Stars picking two and TTL picking 2 and we all agreed on a fifth game. The Gunslinger’s site can be found Here.
